Hi!!!
Hey hot stuff~
I bet you are on the edge of your chair with excitement about now!!! It will be here in no time! I too try to have all the shopping done so my DH doesn’t have to go and do it. Mostly because he comes home with stuff like chips and dip and cookies!!! I can send him for milk and he comes home with chocolate milk and Oreos!!! I would rather try to keep him out of the super market! LOL
Yes I had a drain and just one right in the front of my pelvis. She pulled it at my one week check up. They give you a card and have you track the amount of drainage that comes out of the drain. Then when it is under a certain number she removes it. I guess I am not a drainer, because they said mine was a really early removal, some people have them in for 4 weeks. When I had my RNY I had one, but it was easy to tuck into a fat flap and it didn’t bother me. But after plastics I had no place to tuck it at all. So I used a long piece of elastic band (swim suit strap) that I tied around my neck and hooked the bulb to it when I was in the shower and stuff. Other wise I just hooked it to the compression garment. It was no big deal! That is exactly why I am afraid to have my legs done. I just wish I could make them look better without the surgery. I love to wear shorts when I ride my bike and they look so gross. I guess I need to move to the North and find cooler weather so I don’t have to wear shorts!!!
Good luck and I will be thinking of you next week, you will be in great hands!!!
Many Blessings,
Carmen

Hi Sherri~
That sounds like so much fun! I have been doing the same stuff! Six flags, Sea world,
I still love the crackers, and have an easier time getting them locally here. We have a Whole Foods Market that has so many great things like that to try. I read that Indy will be getting one soon, so you all will have to check it out when it opens. I have a new green that I have been really into lately that if you can find it you should try. They are sun flower seed sprouts and are so good. They don’t look like other sprouts, and make the best flavor in a salad. They have a buttery taste and I just love them. I read that they are easy to grow so with your green thumb, you may be able to grow them yourself.
Have fun on your many adventures and be safe!
Blessings,
Carmen

Linda you are so ambitious!! A dog like that must be a huge undertaking! She must eat a ton and poop huge piles!! We had a tiny dog and hated to clean up after her. You must live out in the country. I have always thought they were so beautiful and what a wonderful companion for your little ones. Kids need a big dog that they can lay around on and not get snapped by. Our little dog got so crabby with the kids because she always felt like they were going to hurt her.
Congrats on the new job, I agree the discount would be nice for you and it will be back to school shopping time soon! I hate to do all the back to school shopping. But the kids like it and they look forward to it every year.
Have fun and relax at your consult. I was so nervous that I almost didn’t go to some of mine. I was afraid of what they might say or think of all my floppy skin. But each time they were so nice and made me feel so good about the weight loss. So just remember that they have seen my flabby butt and you can rest assured that you will not be the last one they will see. I have been seeing so many people asking about plastics, that the

I still have my paper panties from my consult!!! I just had to stick them in my purse to show to my kids! LOL

Hi Carmen, I have been thinking about you a lot lately and wondering how you were doing. I have been on vacation this week and haven't been on the website until today, so I missed your post earlier. I am doing well - so far none of the complications Jaime had! I've lost 80 pounds. I am thrilled with that and still working hard at it. Afterall, I want to be at my goal by Jaime's wedding. Yes, Jaime is engaged and will get married next June - the 21st to be exact. She is really happy and we couldn't be happier for her. We have already entered into wedding planning madness! With Jaime being a teacher, she has been working hard since her engagement (almost 3 weeks ago) to get everything planned while she is out of school. It has been fun - and expensive! Well, that's about it from here. I'm really glad to hear that things are going well for you. Keep in touch! Best, Donna
