Anything interesting going on today for anyone? I got up early and walked before it got too hot. I took Cleo, the St. Bernard, with me. I realize something. When it's no longer light at 6am, she will be handy to take with on walks. No one with bother me with 103 pounds of dog with me.  I would like to go to the support group meeting tonight, but I have to work at Sears. So that won't be happening. I will be in Carmel for my check ups on Monday the 16th. Anyone else going to be up there? I would love to have someone to go to lunch with. Anyone going to be in the hospital that day, and need a visit? Let me know.  Linda Vicory

I'm going to get new glasses today which is excitiing for me... I also have a job interview so wish me luck on that.. I need to find a job unemployment cuts it but just barely.. I went to the pool yesterday and the day before that and the day before that... Call me a water rat... I swam 45 laps in our pool and I do that about every time I go... I don't know what the equivalent is to that in olympic size pool but it's a lot for me because when I started out I could only swim 5... I got a little red yesterday which I don't know how that's possible but the sun must've been hella strong. And of course Harry potter the movie comes out tomorrow an I'm going to go see it...

Vicki I saw your wow moment!! CONGRATS!!! That's awesome... Have you been swimming yet? Is their a pool at the Y on lynhurst? I love to swim and I want to find somewhere that I can swim this winter...

HEY JESSYCA,  I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A Y ON LYNHURST. BUT I CAN CHECK ONLINE AND SEE IF NOT I KNOW THE ONE OS THE SOUTH SIDE DOES AND I AM THINKING BOUT GETTING A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP MABE YOU WOULD WANT TO GO IN HALF WITH ME ON IT. IF WE CAN DO THAT. I WAS IN THE WATER AT THE POOL PARTY BUT DIDNT WHAT YOU CALL SWIM BUT THIS PAST WEEKEND WENT TO MY DAUGHTERS AND SWAM A LITTLE WITH HER. WAS NICE BUT A LOT OF SCREAMING KIDS. I hear a little rumor that Ben Davis has open swimming that might be something that we could look into that's not far from either of us huh? I will look into that

Well, I made it thru the cardiac cath yesterday and praise God the arteries were not clogged with fatty food deposits.. My heart attack was caused by high blood pressure and stress... Not by the abuse I put my body thru prior to WLS..Even skinny people can have high blood pressure.. (but I am not one of THOSE yet) Dr did say I have to continue to loose weight continue to exercise and continue my healthy lifestyle. Be well all and thanks Dan for the prayers...When the Dr got into my heart... "The Dr found Jesus had already been there" When he cleans a heart he does it RIGHT Linda Kay

Morning Beautiful Linda! Good to see you on here! I am so glad you are doing well...you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can make the clothing exchange on the 4th of August. I am hoping to be well enough after surgery to come see everyone. I missed the last exchange so hopefully I will get to see you. I'm glad they found no fatty deposits. Are they going to give you medication for your blood pressure? Anything you can do about the stress? Take care of yourself!

The calendar says it is Tuesday but it sure feels like another Monday to me.  I've been so swamped at work and at home lately I haven't had much time to get on here and see what everyone is doing. Sounds like everyone is doing good (except me) I was 4 tenths from being under 200 two wks ago and today I'm up two pounds, ARGGGGHHH.I just can't seen to tip those scales the other way now. We had a garage sale last thrus and fri and we got rid of over $400 (combined) in unused treasures.  Since I live on a busy highway I never advertise. I open the doors and put a sign by the driveway.  We have something planned every weekend for the next 6 wks.  Unfortunately that means I'll miss the clothing exchange and the camp out.  I was really looking forward to the campout and I'm going to try to find a way t sneak over there but my husbands boss's son is getting married that day at 2 in the afternoon and it is a weeeding we HAVE to go to.  The only good part is since he is making me go I get to go out and buy a new dress.  I haven't need a dress since surgery so I haven't looked for one.  Not going to get fancy.  Just a nice summer sun dress to stay cool in.
