Waited 29 months to say I HAVE A SURGERY DATE

Hi all

Today is the best day of my WL so far.  Yes I have a surgery date.  It is Septmeber 4th in Evansville with Dr. Burry.  I made my goal wieght and even had 3 pounds to spare.  It was a long day at the office getting everything ready.  I start my 2 week liquid optifast on the 20th.  I am so excited.  To those out there that don't ever think your date will get here.  It will!!!!! Took me 29 months and I am finally scheduled.  Good job to all that has had surgery and good luck to the rest of us.  All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Lisa

Lisa, Whew! Time to take a deep breath, huh?  I fought with insurance companies for awhile myself. From the time that I first decided that an RNY was for me and my surgery, about 3 years had passed. And now I'm coming up on my 3 yr anniversary. Wow...such a better last 3 yrs! Sept. 4th will be here in no time. Congrats...and please keep us all informed on how you're doing! Sherri
