I have a consult date

Well, I'm on my way.  St. Vincents called today to schedule my consult date, Sept. 27th!!  WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!  After the group consult I will be meeting with Dr. Gupta so I guess I now have a surgeon.  I have read all the reviews on all the Carmel surgeons and feel confident in all of them.  I'm just so happy to be on my way to a better life. I also found out that I probably have to do my 6 month diet again.  My doc. didn't document things the way my new insurance requires, but I see this as just a teeny tiny bump in the road compared to what I have been through in the past.  I can wait another 7 months, I don't want to, but I can do it especially since it will mean a better chance of approval.  I would not want to just submit what I have now, and get denied and have to wait that much longer. I'm just so happy that it's going to work out this time.

Good luck with the consult...they are very very helpful and informative.  I have Doc Huse...and I will be at St. V's on the 27th having my surgery!  Take lots of notes and ask questions!
