Getting sick

Well, it was just a matter of time, but I am getting the pesky bug that my family has had.  Chest cold, sore throat, coughing.  Before surgery, I would take Nyquil, is that still ok to take?  If not, what can we take? Thanks, Jenny

Go for Zicam and knock out that bug before it takes ahold of you.  But as for Nyquil, I actually blacked out on a full dose.  The alcohol was too much.  You might try a 1/2 dose and go from there.

I know what you mean by blacking out. About 1/2 hr after I took it, I couldnt hardly function.  I was asleep by 8pm.  I may try 1/2 dose tonight.

I have a cold too right now. I got diabetic cough/cold syrup from Walgreen's. It seems to be helping. I hope you're feeling better soon.

i just got rid of bronchial infection n cold i called dr they told me it was ok to take robituusium dm-hope u start feeling better--

I didn't even know we could do Nyquil.. I was only looking at alcohol free meds!!! Thanks for the heads up guys!! I do know you can take sudafed though if you need it also. Vicks vapor rub and Tylenol cold and sinuse have been my best friends lately lol.
