I'm pre-op lap-band, so can't yet speak from personal experience.  But I have spent a lot of time on the Lap Band forum of OH, and I think you're in what they call "Bandster Hell."  You've healed from surgery but don't yet feel much restriction, so you get hungry.  Although some people feel restriction right after surgery, the majority need a couple fills to get there.  Stick with your 4 oz meal but make sure it's high protein and high fiber to help feel more full.  Sip your fluids in between meals.  Keep exercising.  Hopefully you'll get some relief with your first fill.  Remember, you're in it for the long run, it won't always feel like this!!  Good luck!

As what Jessica said - you just need to "hang in there" till you get your fills regulated and to the point to help control the feeling hungry issue. Remember though that each fill is a progression to feeling less hungry. Odds are that your first fill or even your second are NOT going to get you to your sweet spot. Just keep doing what your doing and work your band. GOOD LUCK Jodi
