Good luck on the fill, and I hope you find that "sweet spot" sooner rather than later.  I get my band on Friday, and can't wait!

Hello ladies,

I don't think we've 'met', I've been preoccupied with my husband's illness lately. But I had the Lap Band in '05 and very happy with it! I didn't think the fills were all that bad (but I don't have a 'fear' of needles) as long as you remember to stick with fluids following your fill, you should be fine. What size band do you have? Mine's a 4cc band and I'm at 2.75cc right now, planning on goin in to see doc this week. My last visit was in March, with the campground taking most of my time I haven't gone in and since my husband got sick I've been slacking in going. Gonna call them on Monday and see if I can get an appointment. TTFN Hope

Hope,

Im so sorry to hear that your husband has been sick.  I cant imagine what u are going thru right now.  I will keep u in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope things get better for you and your husband soon.  Is this something that will go in remission??? I hope things clear up before you peak season starts again in a few months.

I go for my second fill Thursday.

I, too, was very nervous when I went for that first one but a blood draw is much worse.   It really isn't painful at all.

I actually felt the band tighten. That was a wierd feeling. Good Luck!!
