Misty I have been battling the same sinus mess you have since Friday.  Our office is so cold and everyone is sick so that it doesn't help at all.  Decided to take the day off today and get better!  If I feel too awful I won't come to the Ornament Exchange but hopefully a day of rest is what I need.  I am back to bed...Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all! It is a cold and icy morning here in the hills. At least it is supposed to warm up a little today.  I hope so, because I don't care to drive in the ice. The snow I don't mind, but ice is a different story all together.  How much snow and ice do you all have in Indy??? I am wondering on when I should plan on leaving in the morning to get there by 11.  I know I am 2 1/2 hours away on NORMAL driving days, so I may have to adjust according to the road conditions! LOL  I still haven't a clue as to what to bring tomorrow.  I wor****il 9 tonight, so I may just be picking something up on my way up there. Any quick suggestions are greatly appreciated.  I see on the list meats and cheeses already. And vegis too, so I will need as much good suggestions that are possible. Thanks!   I am going to try to get my hair cut this morning before work, if I can find a shop that will work me in. I want it gone!!!!  I was planning on doing it this past Monday, but didn't get to, so now it is my last chance to get it cut before tomorrow.  Maybe by the morning I will have a new doo!!! Time to get ready for work.  I have tons of things to do before I go in at 11, so have a great day! p.s.     Did you check out the move on my ticker?!?!?!?!  When I went to the pre-op testing yesterday morning, she had me hop on the scale, and I just about fainted!!!!!  I reached the goal that my dr wanted me to get, in order to have my surgery!!!!  I asked the nurse if she was POSITIVE that the scale was right, and she said yes!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! I danced and did the "hippy hippy shake" when I saw the numbers!!!  Later yesterday afternoon, I had to go get my cardio clearance, and I had to weigh there as well. I told the nurse "I know what I weighed just a couple hours ago, and I have eaten a little bit, so if your scale is way off, I am sticking with the what the scales said at the hospital!!!"  Talk about happy! I am so ready!!! 20 days and counting!!! TTYL!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good Friday morning to all of you. I have been for quite a while. I got up and couldn't go back to sleep and so I thought why bother.  I have to go grocery shopping this morning and I am dreading that because it is so cold. I wish that I could stay home in my p.j.'s and furry robe. But real life calls and I must answer. I guess we are going to put up the Christmas tree tomorrw. I want to do some dusting around here and the furniture has to be moved. The moving of the furniture is going to wait until tomorrw when DH can help. I always tell my older sister (and only sibling) that my parents raised no fool because they learned with their firstborn. lol For some reason she finds no humor in that.   I hope that everyone gets to feeling better. Sometimes I feel like I am going to get this sinus thing and then other times I don't so I am just hoping and praying that it stays away. That stuff is miserable. Take it easy and try to get as much rest as you can. Have a wonderful and blessed day all. Stay warm and stay safe today. I will chat with you all later on. Bye for now.

Good morning everyone! Hey...for all you techies out there...I got a printer issue that I could use some advise on. It's a HP Officejet 7110 all in one. It's hard to find ink for it (#14) so when I do find it, I usually get 2-3 cartridges of the black just so I don't run out. Well...there aparently is a 'hardware malfuction' (HP's tech support term for it!) that will error out if the ink is 'expired'. Yes, expired..as if it's a gallon of milk or something! I couldn't find #14 at WalMart and as you guys know, I'm not physically able to drive all around Indy searching for it, so I ordered some online. It came in yesterday and yep, they are also 'expired'!!! Do you know of ANY way I can over-ride this stupid error???? I have 5 new cartridges sitting here that nothing is wrong with them except the date they have stamped on them. I really don't want to throw all that $ away and I have some printing that needs to be done on that printer. I am really tempted to check out Lexmark's all-in-one's. At least you can find their ink usually! After this deal though, if their tech support doesn't start saying something besides 'buy more ink', I really doubt I purchase another HP product! Would any of you techies know a way around this idiotic error message besides buying more ink? Okay...that is my frustration of the day. The visiting nurse called and she isn't sure when she'll be here. No problem...at least it's Elaine...I like Elaine. After she leaves, I'll be running to Walgreens & Kroger. I think I have it narrowed down in my mind of what I'm going to fix for tomorrow. Sorry Pamela, no crab casserole. You're welcome to bring it if you want. For a lunchtime party atmosphere, I'm going to go with more of finger-type foods (one appetizer, one sweet). I do hope everyone gets to feeling better fast! I don't want any of you to miss out on the fun tomorrow..but I don't want what you have either... So..the best thing is just for all this sickness to get out of your systems. Jenny...thank you for the lovely card! Carmen...I recieved your card also. It was great seeing pics of you & your family. I do envy your being able to swim in the ocean in November!!! We miss you up here though girl. You take care of yourself. I guess I better go write up my grocery list. You all have a terrific day today! See you tomorrow!!!! Woo-hoo! Sherri

Sherri, I found this online for ya.... http://land.netonecom.net/tlp/ref/letters/hpPrinters.php If you don't want to do that...then you can try setting your PC's Date (double click your clock in the lower right hand corner) back a year since the printer gets it's time/date from your computer. ck

Chris, Thank you! I have the battery out and am waiting the hour like he said that he did. It's good to know that I'm not alone in thinking that 'expired' ink is about the dumbest thing I ever heard of!! I'll let you know how it goes. And if it doesn't work, I will temporarly reset my date on my pc. At least long enough for me to get this printing job done. Thanks again! Sherri
