Hi LeaAnn, Those of us who live pretty close to the edge know, understand, and can appreciate folks like you who are truly making a difference by getting the word out there to others who may have the ways and means to contribute.  THANK YOU for spreading the word about our DS sister in need. ~ anne s.

I bet there are lots of us, too, who might not be close to the edge at the moment, but can all-too-clearly remember the times when we were.  These seasons of life are tough, but they provide opportunities for great blessings.

You are absolutely correct!  I can remember many times where a donation would have made it better.  It's great to see sooo many people coming out to help Lyndia!

I think this is a great thing you are doing for Lyndia.  She sent me a super nice pm when I first started posting here on the IN forum welcoming me and inviting me to the DS forum to check it out. I wish I could send some money to help her, but I am having some struggles of my own.  But I have been praying for her since I first heard of her complications.  And I see that those prayers are being answered by you all doing this to help her out.  So I am confident that she is going to be fine as well.  I just wish she did not have to go through this. Please, Lori, let her know that she has lots of prayers coming from me and my whole extended family.

Thanks for keeping Lyndia in your thoughts, Misty.  As for me, my kid is so spoiled every Christmas, I figured now that she's 23, I can just spend her christmas money this year on somebody that really needs it!  haha!
