Unfortunately any insurance you choose from Purdue (I think that is where mom told me he works) it won't help with WLS.  Purdue will not cover anything regarding it, no matter which plan you choose :(

I have UHC and I was approved in 3 days....NO problem with them paying off either.

Lord, keep me in your will so I won't be in your way.

If your husband does work for Purdue, United Healthcare does have an exclusion for Weight loss surgery--meaning they will not cover it. And none of the other three insurance plans offered through Purdue cover it either--seems like Purdue is opting to not cover WLS at all.  I hope your husband doesn't work at Purdue!  Best of luck!
