Monday Thread

Couldnt sleep tonight so I did a body wrap for an hr and then a facial.  Hope I can get some sleep soon. 

Sam...thanks for posting the recipe.  Im looking forward to making it tonight.  I have everything I need but the pepper.  Sam dont forget to send me directions to your party!!!

I got my christmas cards almost finished today in all my spre time as well and all my gifts are now wrapped. 

Does anyone have any exciting plans for today or this week? 

 

I started waking at 4 this morning...Finally got up at 5:15.. Nothing exciting planned for this week except getting the house cleaned for Christmas.. with 5 grandkids it has to be cleaned before they get here to wreck it with gift wrap!! Sure am sorry I had to miss the Ornament exchange. Be well and have a great week! Linda Kay

Good morning. I am on my way out the door to make it to the next clearance visit. Today is my pulmo clearance.  I already have my chest x-rays with me, so I don't have to make another trip to the hospital to grab a copy.  It is really foggy here in the hills, and I have a few stops to make before my 10:30 appt.  Keep me in your thoughts today as a make this drive again.  It is a good drive, just really getting annoying already! LOL I keep on reminding myself that it IS going to be worth it!!! Got to get dressed. Have a great day! I will update when I get home!

Nothing exciting today for me... just work. Although I have this evening off from my part-time job. That will be nice. Maybe I can work on Christmas cards.  Over the weekend, we went on 'vacation'. I thought getting away might cheer me up, so since I got off at 3:30 on Saturday, and didn't have to be in till 3 on Sunday, we drove out of town and stayed the night in a hotel. Got to use the pool, and get a little break from the daily grind. It was fun.  I appreciate all the kind words and good ideas to my earlier post, about not feeling well. Thank you.

I didnt sleep last night either, I should done my Christmas cards. I will start today, Maybe. I pray this week will be better for than last week. I have lots of doctors appts this week. I have only shopped on QVC for gifts. I dont even remerber last thanksgiving, christmas,new years or my birthday,most of 11/06 till June of this year, Thank God for DR HUSE. I have a lot to be greatful for but I am still sad. It will get better, God Willing. Everyone drive safely and try to stay dry. Hugs, Blessings, and Love,Gail

You cant get much better than QVC gifts.  Im sure your family will be happy with what u got them.  Ive been buying most of my Christmas presents thru them for like 20 yrs now.  I think they have some really great items.  If your daughters dont like them u can always adopt ME !!!

Pamela, My only problem is for every gift I buy, I buy 2 for me  I love Demin & CO. and Northern Nights, those are my most fav's. I am trying really hard to get in the holiday spirit, its just taking me a little time. Thanks for giving me the chance to adopt you. Hugs & Blessings, Gail

Good morning all! I had a very busy weekend.  I worked a 12 hr shift on Sat., had our EMS Christmas party that evening.  Sunday was our town's Christmas walk.  All the merchants set up food stands and they have horse carriage rides and our park is all decorated and they take wagon rides around the park.  It is really nice. This year all the food and games were moved inside because of the rain, but we still made the best of it.  The EMS served coffee, so I started making coffee at 1pm and got done at 4:30pm. I was pretty tired last night after my busy weekend. I was kind of glad to get back to work to kind of relax a little.  My daughter has a Christmas program tomorrow evening. I am not really looking forward to that because it lasts so long.  Last year it did not get over until after 10pm, now that is ridiculous for a school program.  It better not be that late this year or I will have to leave.  Other than that nothing much going on.  Hope you all had fun at the ornament exchange, I looked at the pics and looks like you all had a good time.  Hopefully, I can attend next year.  Well have a good day all, I have ranted enough. Hey everyone... I am at home with the kids doing homework today.... I have a 2 papers due tomorrow, tons of math homework, and a math test tomorrow... I have been so busy trying to plan for Logans birthday that I did not have much time left to do my homework... Speaking of Logans party it went GREAT!! He had chocolate cupcake ALL OVER HIM!! My dad took pics so I will try to put some on here... Logan got some cute stuff... He got a Colts outfit(WE LOVE OUR COLTS), a walk behind construction truck thing, blocks, and a singing Spiderman.... His cousin found some AWESOME stuff at Dollar Tree on the East side of Indy... If any of you guys have little ones you may want to go there for stocking stuffers... She got him a Scooby Doo plate, a fork and spoon set with rubber handles, a straw cup with Scooby really big on the straw party... At Walmart they are usually at least 3 piece and they were only a dollar at Dollar Tree... So, I thought I would pass that deal on...  I cant wait until Christmas... Marisa keeps telling me how she has been good and Santa coming and since it snowed Santas sleigh is outside and so on... I cant wait until she comes downstairs and sees everything under the tree... She will be sooo happy. I know I said this the other day, but I cant believe how much you guys act like a family... Everyone of you guys have helped me through something in your own ways... It may be from a bad mood I am in and I vent on here and you guys help me or a question I have that you guys answer or even just the people who post things and I read them and they make me laugh... I just want to tell all of you guys thank you for all you guys do for the newbies to welcome us... Megan
