I am going to talk to Holly tomorrow. I certainly hope there is something better they can do. I know there is no way I can come up with that much money. The sad part is, that price is WITH the insurance, I don't even want to think what it would be if I didn't have insurance!

Definitely see. If nothing else can you try to contact the PPA (prescription assistance program) and see if the maker of Lovenox would be willing to give them to you for free???? Maybe they can get it to you before your surgery  possibly.

when my wife had the rny she was alergic to the lovenox and after awhile they said she did not have to use it and there is no return on meds and we had to get the whole supply but if any one has any left over you can just it from them and if you have a sears card you can go to kmart and they take the card there oh yeah its very epencive and just ask how much with out ins and you well freak out so  ask your doc  if they have any at the hospital they asked if we did not use all of  ours they well give it to some one who can use it
