I was cooking up a storm for my skinny guys this weekend and watching them eat. I think I've transferred everything into cooking for them. I told me husband that they might actually be within "normal" weight ranges before this is over. Anyway, I was using up stuff in the fridge- so I pealed and cut some apples, added 1 cup of splenda, and 3 TBS of cinnamon and boiled them down. I had an ounce for lunch with cheese cubes.....Boy, it was yummy and it set really well with my tummy. I tupperwared them and had some for breakfast this morning. I'm a little bit of a cinnamon maniac-so you don't have to add so much....it also made the house smell all Christmassy just wanted to spread some cooking cheer. Hugs, Angie

sounds yummy. I'm always cooking it seems any more too.  I hated cooking before.  I dont really eat much of what I cook, but I love doing it.  I'm even addicted to the food network now, lol

Heh I'm also a food network addict now! My mom gripes at me because she says it makes her hungry when I watch it.

no liquor.....There are very few recipes I used that in.....thumbprint cookies, cheesecake etc...but it cooks down mostly and it is usually a gift for someone  Apple pie with no crust s exactly what it tastes like. Hugs Angie
