My sister textd me and said she was making Hamburger Helper. HMM I got a recipe from the People Mag for Stove Top Easy Bake. 1 pkg Stove top mix for chkn 1-1/2 lb boneless, skinless chkn, cut into 1" pieces 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/3 C sour cream 1 16 oz bag mixed veggies, thawed and drained Preheat oven to 400. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on box, set aside MIX chicken, soup, sour cream, & veggies in 13x9 baking dish; top with stuffing Bake 30 min or untl chkn is cooked through I am sure there is a way to make this low fat, and you can always eat just a bite or none of the stuffing and stick with the chkn & veggies. I'm gonna try it this week! Julie

Jenny...I am  having a very small chef salad.....not much lettuce...but lots of turkey and cheese and a boiled egg.

Chef salad sounds good, but I cant have lettuce yet.  January 2nd, I can....cant wait.  What kind of dressing do you use, regular or FF?

Well like I said..I only used a "little" bit of lettuce..I can't have until christmas....but I tried it early...lol  anyway...I use light mayo, or fat free dressing. sometimes I just use salsa.

I made my sauage stars and then I took some of the left over chicken I made from Sams recipe...we had that yesterday.  I put it in some wanton wrapper cups I had made for the sauage stars and came up with another dish...by combining the two.

Im taking them both to work tonight for our Christmas Party...So I'll have sauage cups and Chicken Enchiladad stars!!!

Every year we also have a theme for our exchange.  Last yr it was anything snowman and this yr its anything candle.  I got the cutest candle holder at Menards of all places.  I just loved it so much I got 4 for me and 4 for gifts.  Then I went to Warm Glow Candle store and got the candles to put in it.  They each old 5 votives....I got Merry Mint Candles for all the red holders I bought and I got Gingerbread ones for all the green ones I bought.   I cant wait for the party tonight...so much fun!!!

I know it's probably too late for tonight but here's an idea for future reference...white chili. You can get the seasoning packs at the store (over where the spices are usually), add that to 2-4 boiled/broiled/sauteed diced chicken breast and add 1-2 jars of cooked white pinto beans. Then simmer. Yum-yum! Even as early out as you are, you should be able to enjoy this di****hink of it as bean soup with chicken instead of ham..and with a few packs of seasoning. Of course, I add onions to the pot too..I add onions to about everything savory...lol! Sherri
