Happy Saturday!

Good morning all. I hope everyone stays safe today. We have only gotten about 1/2 inch of snow right now, but then there is the freezing rain now, and that is supposed to be all morning. Later this afternoon, it is supposed to be all snow, but for now, it isn't........oh well. I still have to get out in it and go to work. Luckily my neighbor has already gotten the drive cleared off......he has a plow, and has already cleared the roads in front of the house and everything. Have a wonderful day all!

Good Morning LaChelle, Please be safe out there on those roads.  I live here in Browns burg and so far we haven't gotten anything yet.  Thank goodness but they say it is coming.  I definately am not looking forward to it though.  That also was nice of your neighbor to plow for you.  At least you don't have to worry about getting out and shoveling your car out.  I have another 3 hours here at work and then I am going home and going back to bed.  We are in the process of moving back to Illinois so I was very busy last night.  Got a Uhaul and off we wnet before we get hit with all of this bad weather.  Well needless to say I didn't get home until after 3am and had to be here at 7 this morning so I am dog a$$ tired.  Anyone else who must get out today please be safe.  I will say a little prayed for everyone that must get out in all of this mess. Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well. We are still getting snow this morning about 8:30am in Terre Haute. we might have about 2 inches now, but it's still coming down good.  We have lessons this morning. Maggie's got dance, and Mike and Mikey have tae kwon do lessons. I was going to get up early and go swimming, but LOL that just didn't happen. I was so tired. I was having weird dreams too. Me and my mom were in a building with hot lava coming towards it, and we had to eat the four magical fruits, and became flying superheroes. DO NOT ask me where those kind of dreams came from!!! I will get my exercise tonight, being on my feet from 3pm -10pm at Sears working.  I have made my goal this month to just maintain at 165 pounds. From Thanksgiving through Christmas, and then I will worry about losing my last 15 pounds in the new year. So far, so good. 

Good Morning All, I was expecting to awaken to snow on the ground this morning but so far no snow.  Yeah!  Hopefully it will miss us this time.  A little snow a couple of days before Christmas is all I want and then none after that for people traveling.  Today will be a busy one.  I have to finish my typing for my second job.  Then off to a belated birthday party a friend is throwing for me.  Hopefully this evening I can finish the project for my third job and sometime after church tomorrow I can do some house cleaning.  Thinking about it all, makes me tired.  Ha!  Hope everyone has a great weekend and for those of you still shopping, travel safely in this Indiana weather.

Happy Saturday to everyone.  We didn't get any snow but the weather man said last night that NW IN is suppose to get 5-8 inches later on tonight. I hope it just goes away but something is telling me that it isn't going to do that. I hope that when everyone goes out in the bad weather they are safe and careful.  We have to take Misty, my cat, in to get her do for Christmas done. She gets a bath and clipped in the lion cut. She looks so cute and she likes the short hair better than her long hair. I always feel sorry her when she runs around the house thinking everything is normal and in the end she is going away. She doesn't like going out. She is my little baby and things everyones world is suppose to revolve around her.  I went shopping with my neice lasst night. I got a couple of things but nothing much. I got my one girlfriend a candle and it is Carame Pecan and it is sitting right by me and boy does it smell. I got a good deal on it too...65% off. Can't beat that with a broomstick. I am almost finished. Thank God!! Just a few more things to get and I hope to get all of that today or tomorrow. I better get going. I have to get a shower and then I want to have breakfast. I am hungry this morning. But knowing me by the time I get my shower I won't be hungry anymore. I get hungry for a few minutes and then it is gone and I don't get thirsty either. My surgeons PA said that is good because by not getting thirsty I know that I am hydrated. If your dehydrated you get thirsty. I have a couple of times and so I make sure I dring a lot more and then it goes away.  My neice told me last night that her boyfriend will help me get my picture on here Christmas so I may get that done soon. I know that Janene asked me about it the other day and I told her that I had to find someone to help me because I am computer illiterate. I just have to remember to have him help me with that, and my memory isn't what it use to be. I have a lot of senior moments. lol

Good morning everyone! We're on the east side of Indy. We have ~2" so far..maybe. I can still see grass poking up through it so I know it's not a whole bunch. It is still snowing though..it looks like it's really fine, small flakes but definately more than just fluries. We're kinda keeping an eye on it because we had plans to go to a party tonight. If the roads get slick, we aren't going to be able to chance that. I don't want to be in a wreck at all but it would be especially bad if my tummy met up with my steering wheel, you know? So...we just have to wait & see...and I am LOUSY at that! lol! If it weren't for how my tummy is, we'd be out in this...especially since I have 4WD, but you just never know about the 'other guy'. We had to break down and get a new printer last night. Ours finally got where it wouldn't do anything (might have to do with that battery thing..lol). Bill has been busy getting it all set up. I've been busy trying to stay out of his way. I really, really need to get busy wrapping presents! That would get me out of his way at least. lol. We're going to go to Value City tomorrow and check  to see if they have dressers & play clothes (for the grandkids) and some other stuff. From the 16th (Sunday) to the 19th, for every $50 you spend, you get a 'Big Buck' for $20. Then from the 20th-24th, you can use them to buy stuff there. They aren't too far from our house so we don't mind the 2nd trip at all to spend the Big Bucks. The worse thing is that Bill HATES shopping and since he (or I) doesn't think it would be a good idea for me to go off by myself right now and since I can't lift on anything, he has to go with me. Oh...add to it that when I get in a store like Value City or Meijers, I like to look at EVERYTHING...it drives him nuts. I guess that's his Christmas present to me this year...lol. Take lots of breaks if you're out there shoveling the snow.....& have a terrific day! Sherri

Hi Everyone,  It is snowing like crazy here right now-we probably have 3" so far,and the wind is blowing. I don't know if we will try to get out in it very far, since our roads don't get plowed till the last. Living in a smll town has so many benefits and some real drawbacks, but i love it. We are in that 8-17" snow band. Dana has his snowblower readyto go- he digs out all of the elderly in our neighborhood and of course us- you gotta love a man with a big red snowblower! Just once I think he should wear a Santas hat while he is doing it, ho-ho-ho!!!  Got the gifts wrapped & under the tree- there isn't much this yr. just 2 presents each. We had to help the kids out alot this yr. so its really cut into our savings. That and a new roof & sewer line in the past 3 weeks! Yikes, when it happens, it really hits! I am grateful for good health and my family & friends. What more do we need?!!!We are blessed indeed!!!! Please say a prayer for Tony as he searches for a new job, if you will. Things have just been so rough for them and his boss told him he probably will close up shop after the first of the yr. With 6 kids, it is all he & Amy need right now. They are doing so well as parents and we are so proud of them, just have had one bad knock after another.We were suppose to take the babies to the Drs. Mon. to check on them and Bethany's hernia- it will all depend on how bad it  gets out now. Gotta get to the store for the necessities- toilet paper-ha!!! Have a great snowed in day everyone!! Hi Y'all! This weather is so yucky. It sleeted for a while this morning then snowed and now it's raining which means that the roads are just gonna be awful. They still haven't come anywhere near our street sooo hopefully they will do that today. Nothing else really going on just trying to rest/take it easy.

Well good evening everybody, lol, I just got home from work in Indy.  I have been terrified that I was gonna get stuck there, but when I left the roads were in good shape, well until I got almost home and it was sleeting and freezing rain so bad that I couldn't hardly see the road, it was terrible.  So anybody near Indy it should be there now or just about there.  I went from completely dry road to a complety covered road, no lines, or anything with no warning !!!! You would of thought that there would of been a gradual change but ooooh no, not at all.  I'm just glad I got home when I did and didnt run into that on the interstate, cuz my hour drive would of turned out to be 2 hours or more, YUK !!!!!!!!!!!!   I hate this stuff. Well I hope that everybody had a good day today, mine wasn't to bad for being at work.  They had a snack type pitch in for somebody's birthday, so I got to watch them eat stuff like pinneapple upside down cake, brownies, eclairs, some kind of taco saled dip stuff, DOUGHNUTS, meat balls (which I still couldn't eat cuz they were barbque and had brown suger in them, but smelled sooo good!!),  I just munched away on my tuna and cubed cheese and a pickle, and some cottage cheese. YUM YUM YUM lol.  Alright done rambling
