Good morning, all. It is a sunny day here, cold but sunny. I can take just about anything as long as the sun in shining.  My GF is coming over this afternoon. She is the church admistrative assistant and she is going on vacation starting Friday and guess who is taking her place? You got it - me. She is bringing the keys to me and I will be at the office Friday and Wednesday through Friday next week. Friday is our lunch out with Pastor and his wife. We always have a lot of fun during that.  I have to go to Hallmark this afternoon so I can get some special cards. I love going there because it always smells so good in those stores.  Hey Sherri, you are a woman after my own heart. I love slots and the penny ones the best. I played them when I was in Vegas and hit the jack pot 2 times in one night. Of course that sounds like a lot of money but with penny slots it is not that much but still a blast. Every once in a while Bill and I and another couple go to the Blue Chip in Michigan City.  I can sit for hours and play them.  My cat is jumping at the sliding patio door trying to get the white marks on the window. She hasn't done that one before. She is nuts. But I love her. I hope that you are starting to feel better, Misty. You have been through the mill but hopefully better times are coming. LaChelle, I hope that you have a great day. I love reading your posts. The way that you write them makes it seems like I am right there with you and the kids.  Linda, sometimes we just have to take things a day at a time and sometimes it becomes a minute at a time. We are parents that have been through the hardest thing that a parent can go through and it changes us as people. You have done wonderful and continue to do so. God is with you and I always go by the saying "If God brings you to it, He will get you through it".  I better get going. It is nice a toasty warm in here so I don't want to go out but what is woman to do? I will chat with you all later on. Bye for now and have a great day, all.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hello, Hello Indiana family! Well, I have to work tonight so it looks like I'll be sleepin' most of the day. WOOHOO...I love sleep! Sunday night was my first night back to work. I only made it half way through the shift because I felt absolutely crummy! First I got really light headed and sick to my stomach and pale, so I ate my dinner. Later on my cheeks got really flushed and blochy and hot. I just kept sneezin' and snifflin'. I think I was comin' down with something so I just went home at midnight. I feel much better now.  Also, this week I got to start on solid foods! YAY! That was exciting! It really is no lie when they tell ya the first 4 weeks are the hardest. AMEN to that!! It was really rough for me. I think things can only get better from here though. Still have a few things to wrap. Actually, it's just clothes, my least favorite to wrap because I gotta dredge up boxes. But other than that, I'm done. I got my Momma's stocking all done up too.  How about that snow?! Whew! I love it!! We didn't get as much as they said we would because it started out raining and icy. UGH I don't care for ice, but I love love love snow! It was fun to see my nephews playing in it! Last Friday I stayed at my sister's house. I went with them up to Fort Wayne to eat at Applebee's. They now have a wall for the UAW and my 9 y/o nephew's picture was hanging on it, him and his jr. dragster. So we went up there to surprise him. He even signed a few autographs. It was so cute. Well, I hope everyone has a great day today! Take care!
