Tristate Surgical Weight Loss center, getting together!!

Hey you guys..many of you may remember the event sponsored by Tristate Surgical Weight Loss Center (Northern Kentucky) in April.  Well, we are at it again.  This time the date is May 31st.  At the Marriott near the airport.  The 2008 event is going to be incredible.  I met with Taryn (Clincal Coordinator) yesterday to get things rolling.  
This of course is something Dr. Sonnanstine gives to his patients and is free to anyone attending.  You do not need to be a pt of the center. If you are bringing guests you may want to sign up early.. We will have guest speakers, educational and motivational. Banders and RNY patients will have the opportunity to learn and participate.. Not to mention the dozens of vendors.   Watch for more information as we start putting things together.
Dr. Sonnanstine will also have a pre-op session again this year so if you are searching or know someone who is, this is a great event to attend.  For those of us further out, it's the perfect opportunity for a fun time get together and learning experience all in one!!

Brenda, Your event sounds great.  Could you provide a few more details for those of us who didn't know/hear about last year's event.  I understand that you are still putting all the details together but answers to the following will help us decide if we can make it so we can sign up early as you suggested. What part of Northern Kentucky (city name)? At the Marriott near which airport? Is it a 1 day event?  Approximately what time (what were last year's hours)? My husband and I will both be 2 years out from RNY at the time of your event.  Being in Indy we are just 2 hours from one part of northern Kentucky.  We would love to be able to attend this event.  We love meeting other wls folks and are always looking for good products to help us on our journey. The event is right outside the Greater Cincinnati Airport, which is just right across the bridge from Cincinnati.  I believe it's considered Hebron, if I am not mistaken.  I will be updating my profile (which I am a bad girl and haven't done) on the profile I am going to start putting speakers as they come and any vendors.... We will have a fashion show as we did last year which was awesome!...motivational and educational speakers addressing people like us who are further out to folks who are newbies..and even those pre-ops.  I am thinking it would be awesome to have a support group meeting for support people, family members and friends who haven't had the surgery but want to learn!!.. I am sure I can get Dr. Sonnanstine to do something like that.  he is awesome! and it is a one day event from 8am -5pm..
