It's Tuesday
Thought I'd start today's daily thread. Surprised I'm the one doing it - where are you early morning riser's at???? Had to get up early this morning to get my breakfast in since I'm not allowed to eat or drink anything after 6 am. Tis gonna be a long day with no food or water till sometime late tonight (like around 9 pm or later UGH!).
Looks like it's gonna be a windy rainy day.
How's everyone doing today?
What's your daily goal today? - Mine is to take a long walk through Milligan Park with my dogs today before I leave. Get my mind/head right and calm. Oh and it would be "GRAND" if I could go at least one day w/o Quinntin giving me one of his explosive belly button to back of the top of his neck down the legs overfilled pooey diapers. It's like clockwork with this kiddo!!!
Everyone have a good day!

Good morning! It is another warm, windy morning in the hills. Oh well, my type of stormy weather! LOL
The girls just walked out the door to catch the bus. Jimmy just crawled into bed to go to sleep, and I just woke up ready to go for a change. I need to get out and walk some while the weather still will let me. I have a couple errands to run this morning and then I am free until 3 this afternoon. I am going to Molly's brownie meeting today. I didn't get to go to Mariah's yesterday because of the nurse, but today is different! LOL
Have a great day all! TTYL

Good morning!
It is a very windy day here and getting ready to start raining. I hate rain! Especially if we get called out to a wreck or something, then I am drenched from head to toe. Oh well, part of the job. I made some SF peanut butter cookies last night. They were pretty good. I got the recipe off of Paula Deen over the weekend. I only ate 1/2 a cookie. The kids even liked them. I am going to make a turkey meatloaf tonight. I have never had meatloaf made with turkey, so it will be a change. Hope you all have a great day and dont blow away out there.

Tuesday.....yuck it's about ready to storm. I need to hop in the shower, I have my 4th Pcp appt. at 9.00. I need to do my bloodwork again also, I am freakin' starvin, but I can't eat.
Not too much else going on, though. Good Luck to Jodi and antonette on your procedures today. We def. will all be thinking about you two today.
I need to go weigh and see what my scales say. I like to campare to doc's scales. I was hoping to get to wear capri's and a light tshirt to weighin.(come on don't you find the lighest clothes you own to weighin?)
I made the cottage cheese pancakes that everyone raves about on the RNY boards, last night for a snack. I must say not too bad. It was nice to get to eat a "pancake" I will add a dash of cinnamon and vanilla next time. But quite tasty.
Gotta get movin' Have A GREAT Day!!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
I'm kinda worn out today. My tummy wanted to give me some problems yesterday. At one point, it bothered me enough that I was about to take a couple of vicodins. I hadn't taken any at all since the beginning of November. After laying down on the couch and kinda massaging the henia lump for an hour or so, it finally started to settle down some. Now if only I could get the hemmeroids to settle down (I know..TMI). Anyone got any old wives remedies for that? The OTC stuff just isn't doing it. I have to be VERY careful to do a sitz bath (w/epson salt) because of the open stomach wound. Grrrrr....
I got a email from Hope. It sounds like they may have a 9/10 match for Peter (marrow transplant due to lukemia). Isn't that wonderful?!?! Keep them in your prayers...k? I'm sure Hope will post on here as time permits but I can imagine how busy..and worn out she is right now.
Jodi & Antonette....My prayers are with you ladies & your surgeons today. (Floyd & Brenda...let us know if you hear from Tracy..k?) I'll let you all know how Jodi is doing after Matt calls this afternoon.
LaChelle..I KNOW you have to be feeling wonderful today! Isn't it just amazing how you feel 100% better just by getting that little ole piece of tubing removed??
Shanna...I ALWAYS try to wear my lightest weight shoes & clothes to the doctors for the weigh-in! LOL! And I always weigh right before I leave the house so I can compare our scales to theirs too. The hardest part for me is trying not to drink too much water on the way there...water can add a pound or two if it's still in you at weigh-in! lol! Hey...post the recipe for those cottage cheese pancakes...k?
Lizzie...What surgery? Your WLS? Post the date, surgeon, hospital, etc....k? Yes hon, ew are a very nosey group! LOL! I know what you mean about trying to stay healthy though. I get a cold of some sort every time I am pre-op about a week before surgery...no matter what kind of surgery. My hernia/wound repair surgery is scheduled for the 21st..and Bill won't kiss me right now because he has the sniffles...lol! I have yet to have to have a surgery postponed because of a cold though (knock on wood!) and the anti-biotics that I'm normally put on afterwards knocks out the cold symptoms too.
Jenny...Isn't it funny for Paula to make cookies with no sugar...and NO BUTTER!?!?! Hahaha!! I've been making those cookies for 3 years now. Love them. Bill loves them! How can anything be any easier? (1 c Splenda, 1 c peanut butter, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla..mix, spoon out on cookie sheet, press down with fork tines to give peanut butter cookie 'lines', bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes, cool well).
I hope you all have a good day today. I hope those who were feeling under the weather (Ellen!) is feeling better today.
huggs!
