Missy,
Call & talk with Dr. Evanson's nurse. You may need an endoscopy to get things checked out. The color of your bm's is going to have alot to do with what you ate..so she'll probably ask that. With the vomiting/dry heaves, you may have a stricture though which isn't allowing food/water to pass through. Or an ulcer. Or a piece of food stuck. Or.... There's alot of things it could be..which is why they will probably want to do an endoscopy to determine what is the problem.
Please let us know what you learn. If you do have to have an endoscopy, don't get too nervous about it. The worse thing is the starting of the IV...after that, you get good drugs..lol. The whole procedure takes maybe 10 minutes so you'll be at the hospital for ~2 hours or so and since you will be getting those good drugs, will need someone to drive you home.
