Good morning all!

Good morning everyone! I had read Misty's 'Sunday' post and thought that it really deserved to stay on topic with what she is going through right now...so I started this one for our usual morning 'stuff'. I hope no one minds. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone tonight. I had gotten an email from Angie Nugent that she plans on coming (Ed may stay home with football though...lol). It has been ages since I've seen her so I really hope she makes it! For those who are reading this and thinking 'what the heck is she talking about????'.... Tomorrow is my surgery for the hernia repair (12:30 at St. V's, Carmel with Dr. Gupta and Dr. Bergman) so we're getting together tonight (for my last supper..lol). We'll be meeting at Ryan's (On Shadeland Ave., south of 10th street, on the east side of the road...across from Eastgate Crystler) at 5 pm tonight. So far on my list of those coming...or I think probably are is: Floyd & Brenda, Dana & Ellen, Jim & Vicki (& maybe Jim's son), Scott, Angie, Shanna & Terry (& kid(s)??). If you'd like to join us, let me know so we can be sure to get a big enough table(s)...k? On an added note...this will probably be the last opportunity also to visit with Floyd & Brenda before they set sail on their cruise. I am hoping Bill joins me but his eye has been hurting him all night and his vision isn't doing good at all so we'll see. I want to give a special thank you to my Secret Elf. I got your envelope yesterday. The card was very nice..and the Sudoku puzzle book is excellent. Since it's an 'easy' one, I ought to be able to do them even when I first get to my room..lol. I really appreciate your taking notice that I enjoy doing them! Ellen started it when I was at Seton by bringing me a Sudoku puzzle book..and now I am absolutely hooked on them! I have it on my pc, my laptop, a book in the bathroom, by my chairin the livingroom at on the coffee table by the couch! Oh..I also have a little electronic one! LOL! I have so much to do today to get ready for tomorrow. I need to update the numbers in my cell phone & write up the list of who Tiffany is to call after the surgeons come out to talk to them (I have Floyd, Ellen, and Jodi on the list from here). I also have to pack my bag. It's just a bunch of little, last minute things...you know? It won't take me very long to do really. I am suppose to be in St. V's for 2 nights...so until Wednesday sometime. Knowing Dr. Gupta, she'll have me put on the bariatric floor. It would totally surprise me if she didn't. If she doesn't, as soon as I can, I'll wander over to it so I can see if I can meet any new post-ops! If you're having surgery at St. V's Monday or Tuesday, stop in and say hi to me...ok? I'm sure Floyd or Ellen will be posting my room number. If it's not posted before you take off to there, my last name is Johnson (first is Sherri..lol). If you are going to be in there, contact me or drop a line here and let me know your full name so I can try to check in on you...k? Well..time for breakfast! Wish I could come to your last supper Sherri, but I work today till 5:30pm. I hope you have a great evening.  I was pleased. I got to sleep in today until 8:30. That's pretty good in our house. Then Maggie came and got me up, to get her some cereal. 

Linda, I wish you were able to make it but I do understand. I thought it was pretty terrific of you when you stopped in to see me back in October! That visit meant so much to me. You probably left wondering if I would even remember you being there..lol. I did..and I do..and appreciated it very much. I'm glad you got to sleep in some this morning! Sherri

Linda, Glad you got to sleep in.  I was up early.  Had to be in Clinton at 9:00 so my daughter could go to work.  Brought the kids back home with me.  Let me know what day is good for lunch. Hugs Deborah

Good morning all!!!  We are all on our way to a revival church service with some of our dear friends. They have a visiting speaker today that has said that if they have 50 people in the church service, he will donate $10,000 to their church building fund!!! Talk about an incentive to get the visitors in. It is only 5 dgrees here this morning, so we are all dressed for the moment!  It is gonna be cold tonight as well.  Have a wonderful "last supper", Sherri, and for everyone that will be there, enjoy it as well. I wish we could drive up for it, but it is too far, and with the way things are going around here, I am not taking any chances. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Good morning.  I jumped the gun and posted my Sunday rambling on the post started by Misty. I went on and on and so I don't want to repeat it all. I couldn't remember everything I went on about anyway!! So if you want filled in on what is going on with me just read the Sunday Sunday post.  Have a great day all. I will chat later on.

Enjoy your last supper.  Since I was in Greenwood yesterday, do not feel that I can come back to Indy today.  Hope to get to join in at another time.  You will be in my prayers during your surgery and wishing you a speedy recovery Hugs Deborah Bedford

Good morning, I hope to start going to some of the outings, not being driver is kinda hard. But this I can work something out. I do get mighty loneone and feel like I need a life, LOL. Maybe Someday. Definitely praying for everything to go nice and smooth for you Sherri!! If I end up coming up for a scope I'll try to stop in. (( Hugs )) to everyone else.. I'm just exhausted still and haven't a clue what to type because I finally gave in and took a pain pill and just waking up from it.
