I'm just sitting at the computer enjoying my cottage cheese for breakfast. Mike will be getting the kids up and our son off to school. That's a nice part of having a house husband :-) I was going to have to work Monday, but I was able to trade, so I can go to the Terre Haute support group meeting after all! WooHoo! I'm glad. I haven't been able to go in a couple months, and I think it will be good for me. 

Good morning all!  Nothing much going on with  me today. Sitting here at work and trying do some checking on airline tickets for a possible vacation in Sept. to California.  It is probably too soon to book anything, if I wait longer, I may get a better deal.  Does anyone know any secrets to getting cheap airfare?  I am thinking about flying into Vegas and renting a car and driving to California just because it is a lot cheaper so far that I have found.   Any ideas, I am open for suggestions. Gonna clean the closet out today....fun fun....YUK...oh well...I can pack up the clothes that don't fit and get them all ready for the clothing exchange! going to a Premier Jewelry party tonight....soooooooo won't be online till late....maybe can get in the chat room tonight if anyone is interested...will be about 10pm for me... hugggggggggs and stay warm and toasty! Son had a birthday party at chuck e hell last night.
Its my English Bulldog, Georgia's 1 year old birthday today.

Good morning! Well..Dr. Greist from the hemophilia center FINALLY called last night at 5:10. The white cell count DID go up again! Yay! It was 2.9 Monday and 3.1 Tuesday. Before she gives Dr. Gupta and Dr. Bergman the go-ahead to reschedule the surgery, she wants to see it go up yet again..so I go in the morning to get another CBC done. Provided it does go up again, she will call both surgeons tomorrow afternoon. If she waits until after 5 again, both offices will be closed. So....I am waiting on a call back from Dr. Bergman & Dr. Gupta's nurses. I'm going to explain to them what has been going on and HOPEFULLY they will decide to go ahead and try to get a date scheduled. At least they'd have today & tomorrow to work on it before the weekend hits. I just really hope that Dr. Bergman has an open time next week when Dr. Gupta is available...and that there's a OR open during then. Anyway, that's the scoop on that for now. Other than waiting on the nurses to call me back, not much going on today. I like quiet though. Quiet is good ****ationally...lol).  Have a really good day! Sherri

Well things are finally starting to calm down for me.  Work is back to a normal pace and things at home are slowly getting back in line after the funeral.   Sherri, you have got to be the most optimistic person I have ever known!  I hate to think how my attitude would be if I had to go through everything you've gone through.  And yet, you still sound sweet and perky.  You really inspire me. I'm really anxious to see my weight tomorrow.  I only weigh on Fridays.  Last week I was at 70 lbs gone and right at the same weight as Troy.  I'm hoping I pass him up this week.  It will be the first time since we've been married that I am lighter than he is!   Gotta get back to work.  Hope everyone has a fantastic day.  Keep warm!  It's freezing way down here so I know you guys are even colder! If you think getting to CA is an ordeal, try Australia!!! lol... that's what I've been working on for the last 2 hours.... then again it's my job as a Corporate Travel Manager....I have to repeat to myselft "I love my job.... I love my job..."  And most days I really do!!! :) Other than the terrible cold, not too much new down here. Glad everyone is doing well today, and talk to you all later!!! Hugs, Angie
