Discovering new bones!

Well I'm back for today anyway.  I've had meetings all week and feel like I've been on the road more than off. At one of my meetings, I was sitting in a chair that I thought was the most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in.  I kept getting up and looking in the seat to see if I was sitting on something.  It felt like I was sitting on two balls right in the middle of my butt cheeks.  Turns out it was some bones in my butt cheeks that I didn't even know existed!  They've lost some of their padding so I'm actually sitting on them now. Then last night when I got home and found another bone in my butt that hits the back of the toilet seat!  What's with the bony butt?

A girlfriend of mine sent me an email this morning with the words to a song called "What if my butt was gone".  I'll have to copy and paste the lyrics on here.

Hope everyone has a great day!

It gets worse.  Good that you can't sit for a long time it helps to get the steps in.  I feel places now and say is that a tumor no it is a bone. Ha Ha never knew how they felt.  Little victories are great. E

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Jacqui, The further out I get, the more bones I discover I have! First it was the butt bones..and then the clavicle & ribs. Now that I've had the TT, it's the pelvis bone! ESPECIALLY when I am laying flat!! Oh..and at the tip of my sternum, mine protrudes outward! The visiting nurse was changing my dressing and her finger found that bone..first time she noticed it I guess. It really surprised her. She made a comment how no one should ever have a problem if they have to give me CPR because it VERY easy to tell where the end of my breast bone is! LOL! Until I was talking with Jodi, I thought it was just me and wondered if it was a deformity! LOL!! Congrats...even if it is a little painful! Oh..Gail, Hope & I also plan to meet you on the 7th. Ellen is also going to come if possible. Did you see my post about other restaurants? There are several to choose from north of St. V's on 31. Some of those would be better capable of putting a few tables together so we can all sit at one table. I only remember 4 person booths at Max & Erma's...and so far, I think there will be at least 6 of us. Looking forward to meeting you! Sherri

Gail, I'm glad you're feeling better! Remind me next week to tell you about my conversation with Bill regarding the 'girls' after I had a  day! I told Jodi about it ...and that's probably what wore her out in the hospital...us laughing our butts off! Hahaha!!! Better yet, remind me to tell you about the coaster ride at Cedar Point! Hilarious!!! Between the two, I think Dr. Bergman WILL be seeing me (and the girls!)  as soon as I can physically AND financially handle it! LOL! Sherri

I know what you mean on the bones.  My clavicle is really starting to be noticed and my pelvic bones. And I was told the other day by a coworker that I have no butt.  That was music to my ears.  My butt has always been the biggest part of me. I am really starting to notice my thighs are getting smaller.  I think I am going to have a problem with my inner thighs unless some exercise will tone them up.   Congrats on your weight loss, keep it up! I've been off and on reading the posts here and this one caught my eye.  My funny story of finding "bones" is: I was in drying off in my bathroom after a shower.  I have a huge mirror over the vanity and have no choice but to dry off in front of it.  Then I noticed that I have stripes above my breasts.  I kept touching them and wondering what they were.  I called my husband in and he looked at me and my concern and started to laugh.  He said, "Honey those are your ribs!"  I thought he was going to fall over because he was laughing so hard!   I can honestly say I have NEVER seen ribs there before!   Funny how bones pop up in the strangest places! Misty you are doing great - like I've said elsewhere!  You've been through so much and still have lost well!  Congratulations!
