OT- WHAT A SHOCK-- LOST MY JOB

WOW! I am so shocked is all I can say! I went in and after working my a/m/ shift and getting the plans finished for NEXT week, my boss asked if I could come and see him when I had time, I said YES! After finishing what I was doing, he informed me that they are revamping the AfterCare Program as you are aware and thos eplans NO LONGER included me! I was shocked, and still am. I loved doing what I was doing and will miss MOST ALL of the children, LOL! BUT I guess I just don't get it- I know that I have done nothing wrong, never written up, BUT there is alot of things going on and that have went on that I cannot post here on the boards, as fellow parents and employees may see,  that being said, I know that I can still come home to my family and friends with my head held high, that I did not partake in any wrong doing and that I tried my HARDEST to make sure that all children were safe and treated EQUALLY! So I am now home and unemployed and going to be needing to implement my husbands income SOON! It has been a rollercoaster last few hours for me! I/we will make it along. We have been through so much in the last year! Please just keep us in your thoughts and I will be ssing ya around on the boards a little more often now! Hugz Dawn Jacqui- I won't be needing those supplies now! Sorry! *** I still am unclear of what to do about the CLOTHING EXCHANGES and will have to have some more thought and discussion on this! *** IF anyone has any other suggestions or interest in hosting- PLEASE let me know! THANKS-   DAWN

Dawn I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your job especially with no notice. You know it has been said to me many times that when you suffer a loss there is a greater blessing around the corner. So my prayers are with you and believe that a BIG blessing is around the corner for you.

We love because God first loved us (1John 4:19)

Thanks so much! This post/response makes me believe that I was right and they were wrong even more so- and that I will be looking for my BIGGER blessing and hoping that I find it soon. I do believe that I am better off in the long run, BUT financially it is a tough one, but I will move forward with my head held high, and survive! Hugz Dawn

Dawn, I am so sorry to hear of this last episode in a long line of challenges you and your family have gone through these last several months.  I am sure that the children will miss you.  I am a firm believers that God is in control of all things and so there will be another door waiting for you to go through.  I will put you on my prayer list and trust you will find a job you enjoy even more.  Hang in there!! Thanks so much! I know that some will miss me as well as me missing them. My son goes to school there as well, for now, and I will be able to see them and encourage them when I am picking up and dropping off my son, at least. I look forward to hopefully finding a replacement soon. In the meantime I will continue to check on continuing with my classes and keeping my family together and enjoying the things that I have and move forward! Thanks again, HUgz Dawn

Your integrity is what you left with. You were good for the place because you cared!! OH Well their loss. You can always go to IN.Gov and look for an Indiana job.. I know they are always advertizing. And from time to time I see job openings out by Greenfield.. Mostly downtown but actually openings all over the state. You could possibly go apply as a sub teacher in your local school corporations.. Be Well... we can always use my church again if we need to. Linda Kay

Me too, but maybe it is for the best in the long run. Just the shock of it all hasn't completely settled in yet! I will be ok, and proud in the end- that is all that matters! Hugz Dawn
