Medicaid and RNY
Medicaid will do any..... ANY of the bariatric procedures as long as your surgeon and PCP deem it medically necessary for you. I have the band via Medicare/Medicaid and I know of at least two people recently that have had the Dou-switch via Medicaid. Don't let a surgeon bully you into do something you don't want to do. Always call the Customer Service number on the back of your Medicaid card and talk to a CSR and find out the correct info from them yourself.
Good Luck
