Just moved to IN
Welcome Brooke!
Isn't Indiana a pleasant state? I love it here! Alot of people get bored of it, but I think our state is really top notch! Also welcome to the INDIANA MESSAGE BOARD! You will meet alot of "cool" people here! We all get along well, and were like one big family. So hop on in, and enjoy the ride!
Welcome Gal! I think as far as the ones that have replied to your post I am the closest one to you. I live in Wabash...maybe we can meet up in Ft. Wayne one Saturday for Mexican...I LOVE IT...moved up here from Texas 5 years ago!

Lord, keep me in your will so I won't be in your way.

Hi Brooke, I know that I am late in getting to you but you will come to find that is me most of the time. My DH told me that I am going to be late for my own funeral. Sorry, but he is more than likely right knowing me. lol
Welcome to the IN board. It is so nice here. I consider these guys as part of my family.
I live in Portage which is right by Lake Michigan. I have lived here my whole life and like it. But this winter is getting to me. I use to be the hot flash queen but now I think that I have to give up my tiara. I am now cold all of the time.
I am glad to welcome you here and hope that you post often. We will love to get to know you.
Brooke,
Welcome to the board and to Indiana! Until about 18 months ago, I lived in Fort Wayne and I miss it! For good authentic Mexican food try Alberto's on South Calhoun St.--their service is slow though so be prepared. Don Pablo's by Glenbrook mall is also good--but it is "American" Mexican food so it is not as authentic.
For a GREAT Chinese restaurant, try China Palace on Bluffton Rd. It is on the way to Waynedale.
Hope you continue to like Fort Wayne!
