Hello all! How are you doing? I'm fine. It's foggy here in Terre Haute, and the schools are on a two-hour delay because of it. I got to work fine though. Figures, it's never bad enough weather for the state to shut down :-) Oh well, I'm not going to complain too much. I have a job, and I'm lucky enough to like it, so I'll count my blessings.  For those of you on Prevacid, did you ever take a solutab kind? My family doc gave me some samples and they weren't capsules, they were solutabs. Interesting. Whichever, atleast it saves me some $$$.

Linda....Solutabs is what I have been on the whole time.  First thing I pop in my mouth after getting out of bed.  Hoping to get off them after May, but I am in treatment for an ulcer right now....so who knows!!!!!  Any other questions just ask!!!! Love, Holly

Good morning everyone! I'm waiting for Dr. Greist's office to call me so I can get this script thing taken care of for the bloodwork. As a lab person (although NOT a med lab person), I just don't get the insurance company requiring the lab to provide a diagnosis for bloodwork! They run in because the doctor *****quested it wants it. Script pads doesn't even have a place on them for a diagnosis! Besides, blood work is a diagnostic tool so how are the doctors suppose to know the dianosis before the tests are done??? After I talk with them, I'll probably run to the store..if I have time before having to head to Meridian Street. Kathlene...welcome back to OH. I know you've been to a few clothing exchanges in the past few years but we've never really had the opportunity to talk. We try to keep this board as drama-free as possible. If anyone is sleeping with anyone (other than their own spouse or significant other), we are pleasantly in the dark about it (and want to stay that way). We don't critisize others for eating a sugar-free cookie or for not being a size 2. Instead, we share sugar-free recipes and are thrilled for any size smaller than their pre-op size that a fellow hoosier loser gets into. We don't threaten to tell someone's mommy if they aren't doing everything they are suppose to. We are all adults here and we leave mommy's out of it. We may try to nudge someone in the right direction now & then if needed (like getting them to drink water or get their protein in) but ultimately, we are all adults and it is totally up to them. That said, welcome to the Indiana board. While you aren't new to OH, you are to us here. All we ask is that you leave any drama at other locations, and not bring it here with you. That just isn't very condusive to being supportive..and that is what this board is about...being supportive! We try to be supportive online and offline. You are welcome to join in for both. Well..I just finished my grilled cheese sandwich (Velveta light, light butter, 35 cal slice wheat bread) and it's now time to get dressed and get this day going! You all have a eally good day today! Sherri

You know something I thought was weird before my Allergist/Asthma doctor has given me lab work before on a prescription pad or whatever and has always written the suspected diagnosis or something, my old GYN did it a time or two also. I never understood why they did and noone else ever did or how come I was being "diagnosed" before they even got the labs back but now I do. I know a time or two my Asthma doc would write Dx: Possible such and such.

Good morning, Hoosiers Losers! I hope that everyone is having a good one today even though it is Monday.  We got a couple more inches of snow last night. It was really coming down and so I thought that it was going to be worse than it was but thank God it wasn't. I am so tired of winter. I have been ready for spring to be here long before winter even started.  How I long for the cool sunny days and the budding of colorful and scented flowers.  I have bible study tonight that I need to go to. I missed so many of them with the kidney stone problem and all so I am going for sure. Tonight is the last one for this series. We are starting a new one in a couple of weeks on greiving. I got one speaker from Compassionate Friends to speak on the 25th and I would like to get another one for a few weeks later. Pastor and I came to a mutual agreement on this. We think that it might help the growth of the church. I hope and pray that it works the way that we have planned. Say a prayer for it, please.  I am meeting Ella at the Y at 1:30 to do my workout. I haven't been there for a bit and I miss it. I like it when I go there and workout. I am tired but it is a good tired. I have been noticing my legs. Oh how sad they are!!! I have droopy knees. Yes, I said droopy knees. The skin is hanging around my knees some (not a lot, since I have chicken legs anyway to begin with) and it makes my knees look like pathetic little circles. They really are humorous. At least it would be if they weren't so sad looking.   I need to do something about the problem now before it gets to be a way bigger one. I guess I better get going. I hope that you all have a wonderful day. Keep smiling because it makes people wonder what you are up to.  Stay safe and warm in all of your endevours.  TaTa for now, dear freinds.

Afternoon  Buddies,  Gosh, seems like a lifetime since I've been on here! I have been soooo busy-and lazy! I love keeping the grandkids but by the weekend all I want to do is rest!  Sunday we met Penny & Willow at Build a Bear & she got her birthday gift- a sparkley bear! Of course we had to get it jammies & bunny slippers cause it was bare ( get the pun??) & then a cute purse for her to carry it in. Oh, to be a little girl again- ha!!!I just LOVE spoiling my girl!!I Then we had to go to McD's and get a treat, and visit. She was so cute cuddling up to "Pappy" and eating ice cream with him. (He was the one who kissed the bears heart before she put it in, and Penny & I were nearly in tears! She is definately her Pappy's girl~ & mine too!) I have felt so much better since I've gotten back on my stomach meds. now. You'd think I'd have my foods all ok by now, but my tummy is still picky! I tried some salsa that my gf. made & in less than 20 min. I was literally bent over in pain & gas- no more for me!! Welcome to the boards to all the new /returning folks!!!!I hope you find this board supportive, fun, loving, and informative. I've been on here since pre-opt and love it! You make lifetime friends *****ally care about you and your success. Even the bad times are better with these people, cause so many of us have either walked down that path, or know someone who has. Keep on posting, and welcome home!!!!! Gonna get my haircut & brows done at 2, so I'd better get going- got today off- woo-hoo!!! ((((((hugs))))) Ellen
