Pathology Report is Back!

Dr Sutton's office called me early this A.M. to let me know that my path report from surgery finally came back and Dr Sutton and the doc that will be giving me my treatments went over it together to work out a game plan for me. Abdomnal lymphnodes clear and cancer free. Cervical lymphondes cancerous. Both ab and cerv lymphnodes removed during surgery. Spacing between the cell structure of the cancer in the cervical lymphnodes is showing no trace for Lymphatic Cancer. WOOO HOOO!. Bad News: Cervical lymphnode and tissue removed from vaginal wall show cancer probably had invaded my uterus. Meaning I had an 85% chance of having undetected Uterine Cancer at this point. So my treatment is going to consist of localized radiation treatments and chemotherapy in hopes of killing any chance of the uterine cancer becoming a problem to where I'll need surgery again. I meet with the treatment doc on the 19th here in Crawfordsville. I'm still in good hopes. Everything has been detected early enough and I have confidence in my doctors and in GOD. I just take one day at a time and go on. I'm gonna start my bladder training today so that I can have my cath removed on the 21st. In other news at my house: Quinntin had his check up and is a healthy 17lbs and almost 28 inches long. Gage is doing awesome in wrestling. Matt is buying me a new engagement ring (to go with our wedding set) and a VAN!!! Things are good. Life is good. Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers. They have really helped me along this journey. Without my OH family I'd probalby be a little lost in my own grief. Thank you all so much.! Jodi

Jody your always in my thoughts . My mom took chemo on and off for 4 yrs and right now she is in remission . Like you she has faith and it works. Your baby sounds adorable i have 2 teenage boys and i wish they would get into wrestling.

Wow Jodi, you are so positive and such an inspiration.  I will keep you and your family covered in prayer.   This Indiana group is amazing.  I never realized how important you each would become in my life.  It's such an honor to share my life with you but an even bigger honor to be a part of your lives.  What a blessing each of you are.
