OT: My daughter has to go see Dr. Gupta

So my daughter has been having issues with her GI and her PCP wanted her to come in today and they drew blood and said they were going to refer her to a pediatric GI Dr.  So they just called me back and said she has an appt. with Dr. Gupta.  I was like, "are you serious", she said yes. I said that is my doc that done my GB surgery.  I never even thought of her, but my daughter probably would have had to been referred anyways.  Just thought it was ironic and wanted to tell you all.  Also, does anyone know where Clarian North is?  That is where I have to take her.

Wow, Dr. Gupta has it goin' on!  haha!!!  Also Clarian north is not far from St. V's.  I might be wrong, but it may be on 116th street or something, but I am not to sure.  All I know is that it is an extreeemely nice hospital!  My mom had a surgery there last june and it was really Hotel-like and top notch!!!

Wow Jenny. Well the good thing is atleast you know she's going to be taken care of by an awesome doctor. :)

Jenny,  It is at 116th St. & 31, and easy to find. Make sure you stay in the right hand lane when you turn off of 31_ the med. center is on the right. It is a great hospital and Dr. Inman is there,also.Gotta love a place that is more like a hotel, tyhan hospital!!! Bless your daughter, I will keep her in my prayers.It is never easy when your little ones are ill, but she will be in good hands.    I am going down again tomorrow for blood tests. My local hospital messed mine up,& didn't do 1/3 of them~grrr!!!) Anyway, let us know when you are coming down & perhaps some of us can meet you. (((((hugs))))) Ellen

You probably know this already, but the Pediatric GI Dr. Gupta is not the same person as your surgeon Dr. Gupta!  Just so you're not surprised when an Indian male walks in the room.  ;-0

Oh I assumed it was Dr Gupta that done my surgery.  I would have been surprised.  Thanks for letting me know that Jessica.  Is the pediatric Dr. Gupta any relation to Christine Gupta, are they married?

I don't know, actually, if they're married to each other.  I don't know whether or not her husband is a doctor.  Maybe you can ask the Peds GI one when you meet him??  Lots of docs are married to docs, they meet in med school or residency.
