Still losing weight

Well about the time I think I am at the lowest weight I will notice my clothes seem larger weigh myself and find another 5 lbs have gone. I am working out and keeping active so i hope it is not muscle weight leaving.  I will wait until after my year is up April 13th and schedule another bod pod to see what my body is doing. On another note keep Becky and I in your prayers.  She had a episode early yesterday and passed out in the bathroom.  Turns out may be just a urinary track infection but it sure worried me as she lay there passed out and turning pale.  I am dealing with work situations since the surgery and I believe it is just the great deceiver Satan trying to win me back to my food addiction.  I will not let him win and I am constantly in prayer that I remain obedient to making my body a temple for Christ to live in. Some of you have meet me and have come away knowing me and thinking of me as a good friend.  I say thank you for your comments.  Please know that I can be stern at times and very opinionated and if I answer a message in a way that offends you let me know.  I just want all that make the choice to have the surgery remain successful with it.  I have seen people with the surgery no longer attend support groups, get on-line with groups like this and other positive actions fail.   I am an old guy that wants to encourage a person that may be in their 30, 40, or 50 that you have been given a great blessing by God to find a surgeon that uses the skill God gave them to help you.  Keep positive actions anf friends in your path and you will have a reward.   God Bless E

My prayers are with you and Becky.  I hope she gets to feeling better real soon and I hope you find out what is going on with the weight loss.  I am assuming you are to your goal and are not wanting to lose anymore.  

I want to be healthy.  My goal was 170lbs which is a BMI that the insurance compaines would say is great.  The Dr's and the exercise people say at 190 I am fit and lean enough with 12% body fat.  So I don't know. Thanks for your prayers and wishes for Becky she is my rock.  Since the Lord has put us together she has been my rock anchor point to keep me on a path that is good.  Thanks E  

I hope you are losing if you want to lose, but becareful about losing too much, if you're happy with where you are, and your doctors are happy. You might talk to the dieticians about what you should do to stabilize?

 

 

Emil, I will keep you and Becky covered in prayer. Also, you have been a blessing to me and many others on the board.  We all need a swift kick in the behind sometimes.  I've never taken anything you've said in any way other than in love.

Thanks to both of you and Linda and Jacqui I am not trying to lose weight, but I am checking to make sure I don't gain weight.  I am eating more but losing so I will just leave it at that.  I feel strong and will trust in the Lord to keep me. I am tired of the cold weather, I want to get back on the bike and do 45 miles.  It has been a great time for me to unload work issues and life issues.  Any of you want a get together to walk or ride the Canal towpath and/or Monon shoot me an email.   Oh well Spring will come.
