not the answer i wanted

i called medicaid again. they tried to feed me the same line . i asked for a supervisor. after a few moments on hold, i was told that they would call medical management (wouldnt give me the number) and see what they could find out for me and call me back. after just a few minutes, they called me bac and told me that medical management has received NOTHING under my name. so now the question is " has colleen not sent it yet OR has medicaid already lost it?" i called and left a message with melissa. hopefully i will hear something soon.

Hi I am inquiring to see if you are in the Lafayette, IN area.  I live in Lafayette IN and am waiting on approval for surgery also.  Its very frustrating and I am getting axious.  My insurance is United Healthcare and I have called for 4 days and they kept telling me that had not received anything from Dr Evanson's office.  Well finally yesterday they located it and its in review.  Don't give up yet.

Heidi I have had that issue too .. I called and called over and over after I KNEW my stuff had been sent in and they told me for over a week they never got it. My docs office resubmitted it and I stayed on them calling later that evening and the next day and they finally acknowledged it. After that I was approved within 3-4 days.
