Can someone tell me about clothing exchange?

My surgery is just 2 weeks away, and I've started cleaning out my closet, and thinking there are other people who can relate to me and where these come from, who could use some of this stuff.  I remember when I first came to the board, there was mention of a clothing exchange... can someone please tell me more?  Is it free or  low priced????  I know for sure I'm going to need summer clothes this year... and like everyone else, I can't afford to buy new clothes every couple of weeks.... Hi Lori,    We hold a FREE clothing exchange every few months!!! We have bariatric friendly food we all pitch in, fellowship, and FUN!!!!   There is usually a post about it before the scheduled event- and I think the next one is in April sometime. Keep looking on here for updates, clean out your closet, and come !!!!!   Looking forward to meeting you. Your new, healthy life is just a few weeks away- get ready for the best years of your life!! Is the exchange usually in the INDY area?  I'm up in Elkhart, and just want to be able to plan ahead... that way I can set aside funds for a hotel room. Thanks!!

Yes they are usually in the INdy area, they have been on the east side west side and south side.. usually in a church or school. the first one Deb Noel started was in a church the second she had in her front yard!! Thats the one I went to then in Angies barn.. They are fun.. we have even had them in KOKOMO when Pastor Dan hosted it. Our Indy school fell thru but we will have a new area set up soon for April.. Keep on line and see where we will have it. And yes it is free!!!! Linda kay
