Sorry, life has been CRAZY!!!!

Hey, how are you guys doing??? My life has been CRAZY these last few months...  I have been really busy with everything with my sister and her car accident... She is just now able to walk(with a cane or walker) and her car accident was in December. I was taking care of her and the boys for a while... but she was trying really hard to get back to work... She got my Grandmas motorized scooter and went back to work just 2 weeks afterwards. Her doctor did not want to realize her to go back to work for 6 weeks, but she talked him into it... She is happy though... She just bought her a REALLY NICE house on the Southeast side for 1/2 of what it is worth. It was a HUD home and it only has a few issues that need fixed, like carpet and a refridgerator(big things huh:) She is doing pretty good though...  My sister  finally went home we had another family crisis. My Grandma got really sick and was having heart issues and had to have a heart cath done and the medecine they gave her she had a severe reaction to and she went a little crazy- Ok really crazy... I have been hearing about this soooo much lately especially with older people... She thought the doctors were trying to kill her and me since I was in the hospital with her the entire time. She wa*****hing doctors and hitting them with foot stools, and throwing water on them... They had to call security and restrain her but she kept getting out... It was just scary... Her carbon dioxide(I think that is what it was) was really high and her blood pressure was high and it was not good... Oh, and she managed to get MRSA in the hosptial too!!! She dont remember any of that, and she is almost back to normal. She is still very forgetful... It is almost like she has memory loss now. So, I have been trying to get the Power of Attorney papers situated so my mom and I can get her POA.  Then 2 days later I got a call from the day care that my dd was vomiting non stop and had a fever of 101. I was at school so I had my mom pick her up and was going to take her to the doctor the next day. Well, that night she ended up with a fever of 103. I took her to the hospital and she had a kidney infection. They gave her shots in her legs of antibiotic and sent her home. Well, she was running a low grade fever for about another week and the day she went off the antibiotic she ended up running a 103 fever again. I took her to the doc and he said she has Strep throat and the antibiotic they gave her dont work for either infection she had. IN the meantime the doctors are trying to check her kidneys because everyone in my family has severe kidney issues. Luckily, hers isnt as bad, but they will have to check her every year because she showed something different with the kidneys. Then, I took her to Riley because St. Francis could not figure out what was wrong with her after almost 3 weeks. THey were nice but did nothing for her except cause her a bunch of pain. She was dehydrated-she had 2 things of IV fluid. She still couldnt go  to the restroom or nothing. We left there with no advice or reason why she is sick. I took her to her doctor and they said she had strep throat again!!! So, she is now starting to feel better, but I am running in circles... I can map out all the hospitals, so if you need to know where to go in Riley, Methodist, Han**** Wishard or St. Francis give me a call... I also know Community East and North!!! So, for the good news... I am officailly smaller than my age!!! I am a size 18-20. I was a size 24/26 so I am feeling pretty good... Actually I was pretty mad because I went to dress up and had all my cute dress clothes laying out and went to put them on and I looked like some ghetto dude... I had to go in jeans... but they were jeans I were when i was a teenager, so I wasnt too upset!!!! Another good thing... I made the DEANS LIST last semester!!! I made straight A's!!! I am sooooo happy about that!!! I am working really hard at trying to get a good education, and hopefully I can keep my grades up. My GPA is a 3.75(I think-It may be a 3.5)  from the time I started, so I really have been trying. See, I am proof that even with learning diabilities you can still go to school and make good grades... You just have to put your mind to it!!! Oh, and I changed my major in school AGAIN!!! This time I am sure this is what I want to do. I am going to school for Human Services. I love helping people out and finding them the assistance needed. I was scared at first to do that because of the money, but after I looked it all up I realized the money was ok. I was just scared I would have to go to work and ask for assistance from the same company I was working for. I realized you make more money than that but I am not really concerned about being rich. Like I said I just want to help people.... So, that has been my life lately... Sorry it has been soooo long... I have just been busy like always, but with a few added things!!! I hope everyone is doing ok... I looked at a few post tonight, but not many.... I will try to catch up this week(hopefully)!!!!! *~Megan~*

Goodness gracious girl!  You have been a busy person.  Glad your sister is back up and getting around.  Praying that they find some answers for your daughter and hope she gets well soon.  I hope grandma is doing well.  Congrats on the weight loss, your doing great. Keep it up and you might not need to go through with the surgery.
