Citracal Creamy Chewables

Hi Everybody,

Do any of you take those deee-licious Citracal Creamy Chewable vitamins? I bought some a couple months ago from drugstore.com, feel in love with them. They were the hightlight of my day (I took 3 a day). Anyway, I can't order them on line anymore and can't find any place that carries them. Trying to figure out if they have quit making them or if they are so popular they run out quick. Anyway, if you know where to get them, would you let me know. I just got 10 boxes of them a few weeks ago from Drugstore.com. You might want to inquire through them as to if they were just temporarily out of them or what. Sherri

My local pharmacy orders them for me so I always have a steady supply.  It's a small, local pharmacy in a small town so it's one of those "where everybody knows your name" type places.  I love my pharmacy!   Hope this helps. Jacqui

This is not a for sure thing....but I heard that Bayer is not making them any more. I have emails to Bayer and drugstore.com and my local pharmacy to verify this. But for now I would ask your pharmacist about it and maybe stock up on them. Thanks for answering. Have a good day

THEY CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!  NO WAY!  I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT! Let's gang up on them. I hope it's all a bunch of hogwash. Let me know what you find out. Thanks, Jacqui

I'm with you on this. I so looked forward to the hour each day of taking my deeeee-licious citracal. I just heard about them last month and ordered only 3 boxes, now I wish I would have ordered 300 boxes. They were such a pleasant change from all the "pills" we have to take. So be prepared for war.......LOL I will let you know what I find out.

The news "ain't" good. I called Mission Pharmacal that makes Citracal Creamy Bites......they HAVE QUIT making them. What is out there now is it. So if you can order more you better do it. They are gone. I could of cried when she told me that. Thought I'd let you know.

Linda, Citrucel chewables are the only chewables that I know of that is made with the correct type of calcium (citrite, not carbonate). They come/came in 3 flavors...chocolate, lemon, and carmel. Carmel is my favorite but honestly, I'd take any of them rather than be stuck with the alternatives because when/if they aren't available, we are stuck with either horse pills to try to swallow or tablets that are gritty and yuck.
