Thursday Morning..Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning everyone...I hope all is well. I have to work this evening so my husband and I will be celebrating Valentine's Day tomorrow evening. My son who's in sixth grade was doing his Valentines for his class last night rolled his eyes at me when I offered a pretty red Valentine's Day gift bag to carry his Valentines to school. LOL I guess he's growing up!  I bet anything ..that they will not be doing Valentines in his class next year.. Not cool..

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I dont think we are doing anything this evening.  I told my hubby to stop at Wal-mart and pick our girls up a small box of candy to give them tonight.  I said and SF chocolates would be fine for me...lol!  We dont really celebrate.  I am working until 5pm.  It will be too crowded to go out to dinner, so we wont be doing that.   Well hope everyone has a great day and gets a special treat from their sweeties.

I think that is so sweet that you guys think of getting a little something special for your girls. Vince Gill was talking on the radio about how he gets his all his girls flowers and candy..that is so sweet! Yeah.. I think we'll do something special tomorrow night..

Happy Heart Day Mornin' to y'all~ Well today is a holiday for ME....or so my son and hubby say...they know I LOVE to hug and smooch and they are gonna get TONS of them today!  LOL We had Valentine Day Breakfast...SF cherry turnovers and hot chocolate...the best of both worlds...cherries and chocolate!  I do have a little box of chocolates for my son and I have a box of chocolate covered cherries for Mark (his favorite candy). Good morning & Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Bill & I will be meeting his mom Jean & her bf Bob at Red Lobster for dinner tonight. Every year, we have taken his mom there so this year it will be real nice that she'll have someone special with her. Besides, those two (at almost 83 years young) are so cute to watch!  My belly makes it pretty much impossible for Bill & I to get 'romantic' so we will have to save our Valentine's celebration (as well as our anniversary, Christmas, and New Year****il after I'm all fixed up and able to get 'romantic'.  I had gotten each of the grandkids a little M&M container with an M&M guy at the top which clips to your belt loop. I gave it to Tiffany last Sunday to give to them today. Wouldn't you know it, Bill's sister had sent along with Jean a HUGE bag of M&M's for the kids to share for Valentine's Day! LOL! Ah well, mine had the M&M guys  I had already gotten & given Jean a box of sugar-free chocolates (from perfectlysweet.com). And I got Bill a card that I could not have found a more appropriate card no matter how much I would have tried. It was just perfect. I hope you all have a terrific day! Sherri

Good Morning all of my lovlies! I must say I love Valentine's Day!  I love to give gifts and any occasion to send flowers is right up my alley. Our Council on Aging has a fund raiser every year by selling and delivering flowers so I always buy a bunch for my pals.  I've sent my daughter flowers to school and we got her a candy heart and a build-a-bear certificate.  We'll be taking her to make it this Saturday.  I got Troy some Snoopy Valentine lounge pants, some sugar free candy and will be making him a special valentine's dinner.  I asked him what romantic meal he wanted and he said MEATLOAF.  Ah well...guess it's romantic enough.  I'm making LaChelle's SF Cherry Cheesecake for dessert too.  MMMMMMmmm. Last year, Troy surprised me with a new engagement ring.  We've been married 11 yrs and our 10th anniversary he wanted to get me a new ring.  I told him "NO WAY" I love the one he proposed to me with.  Well two weeks before Valentine's Day last year, I was in our prayer room at church and noticed my ring kept getting caught on my chair.  I looked down and had evidently whapped it on something.  One of the diamonds was gone and the whole setting was slammed to one side.  I told Troy I'd just wait to get it fixed when I had it resized after my surgery.  Well he surprised me with a new one on VD last year.  He took me out to lunch and handed me the small box.  It was so sweet and he was so proud of himself!  It's beautiful!  We decided to take my old one and have a band made to go with my new one.  Of course we'll wait until I finish losing weight.  We're going to take my wedding band and have a ring made for our daughter.  Maybe add one diamond from my engagement ring to make it extra special for her. Happy Valentine's Day to all of my fellow Hoosiers Losers. I hope that today is everything that you wi**** to be. Mine has been wonderful. I got a new printer for my computer (I really needed one) and a long stem white rose. I also got the most romantic card. I love that the best of everything. I was kind of surprised that Bill did that. I felt bad because I didn't get him a card so I wrote a special letter to him. I got him what he wanted and then I gave him money too. I really messed up this year for sure.  I wanted to go out for lunch before Bill went to work but he didn't feel like going. I figure that we will go out for dinner sometime soon.  I am not planning anything wonderful today. Just staying home and do some housework. I am making Bill some homemade chili for dinner. He has been wanting that so today is the day.  May God keep you and yours safe and warm today. Enjoy this day of love with those that you love. Mine is now leaving for work. :(  I always miss him so much when he leaves.

I think it's the little thoughtful details that mean the most. The fact that your husband has been wanting chili and you're making it for him  is special I think. Happy Valentine's Day! I was sent home from work sick myself..I made an appt to see my Dr tomorrow..per my boss! I'm just not used to that!
