new update plus question

okay after being in the hosp for 3 days about 2 weeks ago then stikll not feeling well after that hosp stay im taken back to the hosp in indy and they diagnoised me with my ulcer that is now 16 mm and severe malnutrion they admit me start a picc line on me which i had a horrible experience with they started running the tube through my vein then all the sudden i got extremly hot and felt like my chest filled up and i couldnt breath then i started dry heaving geesh this was a terrible feeling-then moments later it was over but i sure was scarred they said it was called a vagal resposes-they kept me in there 5 days and decided it would be best i go home on tpn so they arranged home health care to come out to the house and im here home bound with this picc line feeding me --then i been in severes pain from my ulcer its unreal and i cant just take any medications my question is how do u no if your stomach dont absorb any pills?  i go back to indy mon with dietician apt then thursday for another scope then we will go from there on the ulcer dr evanson is so freaking rude- my hubby ask him if i could get a pass to go to 1st floor to comp to do his weekly unemployment voucher and he was like NO shes under my care and im taking care of her shes not going down there to smoke-then he said your a big boy you cann figure it out yourself (on the unemp) geesh he really eurks me at times but i tried to switch to dr sloan in ft wayne and they would not take me due to my complications-so i dont no what else to do? has anyone switched doctors before?

Sorry your still not feeling well. Do me a favor. IF you start with a fever no matter how small it is GET to the ER. My PICC line is what put me in ICU with seizures and stuff from getting infected. Also if you start with a fever disconnect the TPN because it will keep pushing the infection through your veins. Dr. Jones had me do that for the 2 hour trip to Indy.

so a fever is the first sign to look for? i have home health coming in twice a week they take blood from my picc line too-did u experience that vagal response when they put yours in? it was a terrible feeling i though i was dying-do u eat with your tpn?  i figured id atleast start feeling better by now but im still feeling real weak and i been on the bannaa bags and the protonics for 5 days then the tpn for about 8 days now?  did u have a ulcer? mine went from 6 mm nov 07 to 10 mm jan 16 to 16 mm jan 31 get another scope thursday-i take my liquid carafate n prevacid but i dont no if its working?

PICC get infected very easily thats all I know. I did have some of a response the one time they redid my PICC (I had multiple ones) I did eat a little bit with the TPN but I vomited a lot. I had an ulcer at 3 weeks out but it wasn't the reason for my PICC/TPN. I had that for 9 weeks pretty much.

Hang in there Missy!  I dont have any answers to your questions, surely someone will get you your answers.  I just hate when Dr's have no bedside manner.  There is no reason anyone should talk to a person like that.   Praying for a quick recovery for you.

so how have u been? i havent had much luck getting any questions answered on here? i donno why? saw dr evanson today he said hes going scope me thursday if my ulcers wo he can do 2 things give me new pouch or reverse my surgery so i doono?

I didnt think RNY was reversible.  How do they reverse it?
