Clothing Exchange Question.

When and Where is the next clothing exchange going to take place??? I need to apply for the time off, and have to get it in ASAP for me to be able to attend. I have 3 or 4 totes of clothes to bring, so I need to get them out of here soon! If anyone has any information, please pass it on! Thanks!

THE NEXT ONE WILL MOST LIKELY BE IN APRIL, WE HAVE THEM EVERY 3 MONTHS OR SO . KEEP WATCHING FOR THE POST AS SOON AS WE HAVE A PLACE IT WILL BE POSTED FOR ALL TO MAKE PLANS. WOULD BE GOOD TO MEET YOU AND SEE HOW WELL YOU HAVE DONE SO FAR. VICKI

Thanks for the reply, Vicki. I can't wait to meet everyone as well. I have actually been thinking about trying to set up a clothing exchange here for those of us in the Southern part of the state as well. It is really hard for me to try to plan things so far ahead of time with my job, and that really sucks too! LOL

I UNDERSTAND THAT ALL TO WELL. ITS NORMALLY ON A SATURDAY . I AM NOT SURE WHAT YOUR DAYS OFF ARE AND A SOUNTHERN EXCHANGE WOULD BE GOOD I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT THAT CANT MAKE IT BECAUSE OF IT BEING IN INDY . I HAVE ALSO BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW PLACE TO HAVE THEM BUT NO LUCK AS OF YET. MY HOUSE JUST ISNT BIG ENOUGH..LOL AND WITH DAUGHTER MOVING OUT OF HER APARTMENT THIS NEXT WEEKEND HER CLUB HOUSE ISNT FOR USE TO HER NOW. VICKI

I will check into finding a place here then to see about holding one as well for those of us in the southern part then! I would love to be able to drive up to Indy every chance I get, but since I haven't been to Indy more than 2 times in my life, it wouldn't do me a darn bit of good to really attempt to go! LOL I am sure there are places locally that would be able to hold an exchange........how big are they usually? (People wise that is.) If I could get an idea of how many would be interested in a southern exchange, then I would look into areas to hold one here! Any ideas?

I have one favor to ask....please don't schedule these clothing exchanges on April 5. It's my daughter's birthday and every other one has been scheduled on a date that I can't attend. I really, really want to go to one!

LaChelle, I go to Indy a lot. I don't get around really easy and get lost at least one time nearly every time I go but if the exchange is on a day I can go, I'd be happy to swing through and get you. It'll make the trip a lot more fun having you go with me.

I love the idea of one down here somewhere. I have a few contacts in nearly every county in Indiana through my job so if I can help find a facility, let me know. I'm sure I could get a church or hotel to let us have it in one of their facilities. Let me know if I can help you in any way!
