Hey Linda, I was diagnosised with cervical cancer last year in March while I was pregnant. However, at that time the doctor told me he was rather certain that it was more a false positive report because of my age (37) and my late pregnancy. He said he actually couldn't confirm (via biopsy) if it was actual cancer nor do any treatment because I was pregnant and told me I had to wait. During my six week check up after the birth of my son this past September, the cancer results again came back on my report. This time though when the Oncologist checked my cervic the results were horrid. You could now see the actual cancer growth like blooming flowering mushroom heads all over one side of my cervic and hanging down to the middle of my cervic. During the biopsy results it was discovered the the cancer reached somewhere outside my cervical wall but we didn't know much. THen I was diagnosised Stage 2 Cervical Cancer. I had a radical hystorectomy. Removing my entire cervic, both ovaries, and because of discovered cancer growth during the procedure had my uterine caviaty removed, tissue up to my bladder wall and a little bit of my vaginal wall. I've had a super pubic (a hole above my pelvic area coming out) catherter since surgery (3 weeks now). During the pathology exam of what was taken out of me, it was actually discovered that I had undetected Stage 3 Uterine Cancer. So my Oncologist has now recommended localized radiation treatement as well as a low dose of chemotherapy as a follow up. So that's where I am now. Thanks for asking. The crisis shelter is awesome here in Crawfordsville. My mom and I donate our clothes there. Now I can include baby clothes to help out as well as toys for the kids. When did you move away? Jodi

Good morning all. I just can't believe that it is still morning and here I am. I have been getting late but not today. And just think that some people don't believe in miracles.  I have been to the Y already and did my workoout. I have made a commitment to myself that I am going to go everyday but the week ends. So far so good on the commitment but today is only the 2nd day. lol Jodi, I am still praying for you and now more since your radiation and chemo is going to be starting. I know that things are going to be alright for you. Congratulations on the ring and the van. You are a lucky woman and I think Matt is a keeper.  Sherri, I hope that things go well with you and Bill today.  It is sooooo cold here this morning. It is only 7 and we are to get a high of 13. What are we going to do with all the heat of this afternoon? lol Jenny, I am glad that no one was hurt in the accident yesterday. God was certainly looking out for you and Tiffany.  Lin, I hope that things go well for you today. It is nice having you on the board. I check in at least everyday. Bill gets jealous of the computer so the time is never the same. He needs my constant attention when he is home. Must be nice! I have to take Bill's cousin to the doctor this afternoon. I am not sure what is going on with her but I usually take her to where she needs to go. She doesn't drive.  I better get going. I have some things to do before I have to get ready to go with Trudy. I hope that all has a wonderful and blessed day today. Stay safe and warm and I will chat later on.

oky doky!
I am so fricking tired today from driving almost non-stop 7 hrs to and from Dr. Inman's seminar. NO i am not *****ing that I had to go that far for it, just the drive sucked! When the heck are they actually going to invent a teleporter? geesh this travelling stuff would be so much easier with that involved!!

Last week my son had no school because of the ice rain stuff down here. So back to school today for him.

I pulled my shoulder muscle or something in my shoulder, yesterday pulling one of my bulldogs off of my son in the car. I AM IN PAIN!

Today i plan on resting lol. and walking faster to drop my son off at school. We only have one car, and hubby takes that to work, so i decided to walk him up to school everyday!! Its about a mile up there and back.

omg did i say i was tired? i cant even type properly!!
