I use the medical reimbursement to set aside money for vitamins and calcium and protein supplements. Compared to the copay for perscription drugs I was on it is 1 tenth. Look at it that way.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Linda, I don't know how much all the pre-op testing was. You could probably call Dr. Inman's office though and ask them if they could give you an estimate on the total cost of the surgery. As long as you stay insured and it remains at 20%, it will be way less than they quote though because of the difference in what is billed and what is 'allowable' by your insurance.  As to the vitamins, etc...I doubt they cost me $10 a month. They are all pretty cheap really. It's just children's complete multi-vitamins, B12 (sublingual), calcium citrite (ie Citracal..and NOT calcium carbonate), B1 (once per week), and biotin. Sherri
