Good morning everyone! Not alot to write this morning. We're fixing to head out to Bill's follow-up appointment...so I hope we find out that the reason his other surgery was moved up was because of something positive that Dr. Price observed...not something bad.  Oh..our new family doctor is going to try to fit me & Bill both in prior to next Tuesday. Isn't that a sweetie of a doc? You all have a really terrific day!! Sherri

Good snowy morning! We have gotten about 3 inches of snow and it is still snowing.  My DH said he heard the winds were suppose to pick up this afternoon...uh oh!  Hopefully, I get home before that happens.  I have been stuck at work in the past well last year in Feb. when we got like 15 inches of snow.  I was snowed in at work for 3 days.    Not much going on with me today. I hope everyone that is not feeling the greatest has a better day today and gets to feeling better real soon.

Morning, Sherri and others. I hope that you are all enjoying your day today. It is snowing right now here. It has been doing that off and on all morning. It is sooooo cold out so I decided against going to the Y this morning. They said on the weather last night that today is going to be the coldest day of winter so far. We are having wind chill factors of -30. That is way to cold for me!  If it warms up some I might go otherwise I am going to get my weights out and do something here. I would think that still counts on my comitment wouldn't it? I sure hope so since I wouldn't want to go on Saturday morning. That would make me very I should go to the grocery some time soon. I seem to be running out of everything in my cupboards. I hate when that happens.  Bill's cousin told me about a new fruit that she tried. I guess it is like a cross between a tangerine and an orange. It is seedless and she said it is real juicy. It is called a Minneola. I have never heard of these. Has anyone here heard of them? Have you ever had one?  I better get going. There are some things that I want to do around here today. Some things never change. Have a great day all. I hope that those of us under the weather will soon be feeling better. Stay warm and safe and may you all have God's blessings today and always.

Happy Hump Day to all of you.  Brenda, I have tried the minneola oranges, and they are really good.  They have a thick rind, but the orange is really sweet and juicy.  I haven't bought any for awhile because I have been buying the clementines...yum!  If you love oranges and tangerines, I'd say try the minneola. Hump day.  Well it has been a fun two days. I woke up yesterday looking forward to my nice hot bath to start off my day.  Water was only lukewarm.HMMM.  Went to the basement and found the pilot light was out on the water heater.  Tried to relight it and it wouldn't stay lit.  Called for service at 7:00am and they said no problem they would be there at 2:30.  My DH left work early to be home and they never showed up.  He called and left a rather nasty message on the answering machine last night.  We got a call from them at 6:30 this morning and he was there about 7:30 appologizing profusley.  So no hot bath for me for two days.  I had to hea****er this morning for a sponge bath and I just feel icky. So much for my ranting.  I'm so looking forward to warmer weather. I'm tired of freezing all the time. I've got my vacation days requested for the rest of the year. (don't know if they will all get approved yet) I'm working on making camping reservations.  We went to the RV show two wks ago and my DH saw the RV that replaced the one we have.  It is almost twice the size but still gets good gas mileage. (16-18) Not quite ready to cough up the $76 grand they are asking for it.  I won;t have to bug him about going bigger though since he's seen this one he is ready.  He says we will use ours this year and trade up in the fall.  Right. I'll bt he'll be ready before then.  Have a good day, or what is left of it.  My brain is tired of working for the day and I think I'm just going to slack for a while.

Jan, While I was at St. V's/Seton in October for 4 weeks, I had only got one shower that entire time! Talk about feeling yucky!! It wasn't until I was home for a few weeks befor I got the ok to shower..but only on the days the visiting nurse came so that if the bandaging got wet, they'd be changing it anyway. Now, I have to cover up the would with specialy tape stuff. I will be SO glad when I can just jump in the shower!!!! LOL!  Anyway, I can definately relate to how you felt! I hope you reserved back some time to be able to go to the OH camp-out at Hope & Peter's in Middlebury. We haven't decided on the date yet, but probably in August.  You can get ALOT more RV for WAY less $$ for a used one rather than a new one. Your's is a C-class, isn't it? I would really recommend you both doing a test drive for an A-class. I was so intimidated by A's because of all that glass for the front windows. A C was like driving a pick-up truck..but an A? In my mind it was closer to being behind the wheel of a semi....until I drove one! I could not believe how much easier it was to handle the 35' A over the 27' C. And when you get one with a slide-out, you are getting SO much more space! It is just totally unbelieveable. At the camp-out last year, the ladies offered to come in and help me cook. I would have enjoyed the company byt I had to turn them down because there wasn't enough room for 2 people to turn around in it.  In ours now though? I could have someone sitting in each of the 4 dining table chairs (yes, a regular table, not one of those now it's a table/now it's a bed things), 3-4 on the couch, 3 in the front chairs, and still have pleanty of room for a few to help me at the kitchen counter! We have alot more basement storage space now too. That's not a big deal when we just do weekend trips but in 2009 I'll be getting several extra weeks of vacation so we are talking about possibly doing a month-long or so trip to Vegas that summer. Oh..this one also have central air. So anyway, I'd really recommend you guys checking out some used ones..and check out A-class. Test drive a few so you can see how well you can handle them and I think you'll fall in love with them. I am SO ready for camping season!!! LOL! I know that Dana & Ellen have some reservations made already so they are definately ready too! LOL! Sherri

Well, since it is 6:20 PM, I guess I will say a quick hello to everyone. I had to work today, and just got home a few minutes ago.......thank goodness.  Hope everyone is doing well.  We are here.  Just waiting for the latest snow and ice storm to hit tomorrow afternoon.  Hope everyone remains safe. Saw Jen the other night.  She has started moving to the Evansville area.  She doesn't have internet yet, but she wanted me to say hello to all for her.  She is doing great.   I need to go update my ticker............I am only 3 pounds from ONEDERLAND!!!!!  That is so freaking wild!!!  I hope to be there by the weekend! Hehehe!!!  I am ready for spring, so I can get out and excercise more!  Winter is hard on that for me.  Take care all!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!
