i did it
HI Sally,
Glad to hear you are doing well. I can sympathize with the blood transfusions. I had to have 5 units after my surgery. If they don't take you off of you BP meds (assuming you are on any to begin with) make sure they keep a close eye on your BP. Mine went really low because they left me on all of my meds. It took 3 weeks for them to realize I should be off of them (my BP was running 89/58 and 94/56!) and then it took a while for them to get out of my system.
Hope your recovery speeds along!

Cindy
Cindy,
That's what my bp runs all the time...and I've never been on bp meds...lol! They can get a 100/60 on me IF they have me talk while they're doing it...lol.

Hi Sherri,
Since you seem coherent most of the time (just kidding!
) I envy you. Mine has been climbing recently, even though I've started to work out again. I'm waiting on a call from the doctor's office now about possibly going back on my bp med. I was really hoping that working out again would bring it back into line, but I've been waking up with headaches every day this week and this morning it was bad enough to keep me at home for a while. So I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and swallow another pill! I'd rather be healthy and on a med rather than avoid the med and risk a stroke. What would the point of wls be if I didn't do what was necessary to stay healthy?
Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Our PC orders should be in early next week. I'll let you know as soon as they come in. If you're like me, I can't wait to get all my new "toys"!
