Congrats on getting the surgery behind you. The next few days/weeks are going to seem horrible with trying to learn how to get all of your water, protein, food, and meds in. Just have patience with yourself. Most can't get it all in from the get-go..but you will get there!  Sorry to hear that you had a complication to where you needed blood transfusions. Congrats and welcome to the bench as they say. I am sorry to hear about your complications. I had to have 4 units after my surgery, but didn't have to go to the ICU. I pray you get well and have a quick recovery.  It will get frustrating and discouraging at times, but hang in there. It DOES get better and if you have questions this is the best place to go!
