I'm not sure what to do. When I talked to Marta Tuesday she said if I'm not better by the end of the week to call. She also mentioned thinking it was the stomach bug and told me to call my PCP who hasn't been in the past 2 days. Sooo do I call him today (I'm on day 8 of vomiting anything I try to eat) or try to call them back since technically it's the end of the week and it will probally take 24 hours atleast to get a call back?

Anyways I spoke to Marta this afternoon and she said my surgeon is just baffled. They think some of it could be all the meds I have been on the past few weeks and stuff has my lil stomach just tore all up. Anyways she said if I was farther out Dr C would consider a reversal at this point. :( Anyways if things aren't better in the morning I have to call and they want me to go to St V's ER sooo we'll see. She wants me to keep pushing fluids via my g-tube and stuff as much as I can sooo thats what I'm doing but it causes a great deal of pain and irritation because it makes me heave horribly, but I'm doing what I can. Anyways I thought I'd let yas know what was happening.

OK, just a long shot, but is there ANY chance you could be pregnant??  Stranger things have been known to happen, and it certainly could make you vomit!

I'm only half way through my cycle and my last period was completely normal. We're using 2 methods of birth control too sooo I'd say it's pretty unlikely.

OK, just had to throw it out there.  Considering your abnormal liver tests, maybe you have pancreatitis now?  If that's the case, you'd likely have no desire at all to eat, horrible nausea and vomiting when you do, and a pain from the center just above your belly-button that shoots through into your back between the shoulder blades.  A simple blood test can detect pancreatitis.  Just another thought, because it's not typical for a stomach flu to last this long.

I don't have any clue whats happening truthfully. :( I just know the past 8 days have been absolutely miserable. I'm assuming if I end up having to go to the ER tomorrow that they will run labs probally. Of course I'm dreading the idea of having to try and get up there because right now it's really nasty out.

I sure do hope you get to feeling better soon.  You have just not had the best luck lately.  If you are in that much pain, I think I would go to the ER and demand some answers and see if they can alleviate some of the pain.

I got a lil bit of food in last night. I was very queasy and it made me very uncomfortable and a little painful but it stayed down. Theyre going to be running an upper gi with small bowel follow through on Tuesday. So hopefully we can get closer to figure things out. I did have a couple Reglan pills I took one yesterday evening and one this morning and also took Carafate last night before eating. Hopefully things improve this weekend or something.

HOLY COW girl!  Are you trying to set some new record or what???!! LOL You poor thing.. Have they checked for herniated bowel?..ala kinky bowel??? I've been absent from the computer for a bit and just saw this today..8 days of vomitting..I'd be banging down the doors to the ER! The fact that your surgeon is or has considered a reversal for you is telling in itself..wow..I hope things get better for you Misty and SOON!!! I am praying for you..I want so bad for things to be normal.."typical" for you. I'm thinking about you and wish you the best!
