Any Porter County Losers?

Hi!  Looking for any one living in Porter County to dicuss WLS with.  Living in Porter County myself.

Hi, my name is Brenda and I live in Portage. I was born here and raised in Chesterton. I still feel like it is my home even though I have lived here for 27 years.  I had my open RNY on 10/8/07 and so far have lost 73 poounds. I am enjoying life for the first time in many years. I am more outgoing and busy and love experiencing the WOW moments now. I also had Dr. Stanish and think the world of him and his staff.  I read some of your profile. I am sorry that you are having problems. If there is anything that I can do to help you please feel free to let me know. You aren't alone here on this board. We are a very close group and please know that we are here for you whenever you need to talk, question or just visit. If you want to pm me any time please feel free to do so. I check in several times a day. My hubby Bill works afternoons and so I am here most of the time with my cat Misty keeping me company.

Hi there!!  I don't live in Porter County, but I'm in Hobart, so close enough.  LOL  I also have Dr. Stanish and he is amazing.  Very competent and his nurses are the best.  They genuinely care about you which I think makes a world of difference.  Feel free to PM me.  I'm 5 days post op and little sore, but I try to jump on here every day.   I'm feeling better every day.  Feel free to ask my any questions!!
