mail ?

if you are in indy and mail something to another place in indy, how long should it take to get there???

It depends on where you mail it from.  The New Augusta branch is very quick, but the Southport branch can take much longer.  Not sure why, but I've seen it time and again.

I  work at the main post office downtown and all mail in indiana has to go to the downtown post office every night then be mailed out even if you are from say plainfield and mailing it across the street from your house...  its so stupid..mail should take one day...but remember machines can not read markers..or differnt color envelopes....so those are hand sorted...helps at christmas only white...hope this helps....
