ST VINCENTS CARMEL ??

I was just wondering if they let you have family members stay at the hospital with you after surgery?

I have been calling around for hotels and just happens the week I have surgery there is a big confrence in town and they are pretty booked up and those who are not..the rates are really high!!

I was just kind of wondering how big the room is that I will be in or how there waiting areas are?

Is it a family friendly hospital?

Yes!  They brought in a bed for my mom Cheers!

You will have to tell them like as soon as you get to the floor (or have your family member) tell them they will need a rollaway bed or else they'll be stuck on the chairs.

You all are making me feel better about this...The prices are really high when there is a convention in town...

I have made a couple of reservations at two diffrent hotels near by just in case but I really don't think I want to pay that kind of money!!

I may save my money and stay a couple day's after I get out of the hospital ... Just to be close by....

If you do not cancel your reservation 14 days ahead of time they can still charge you or whatever their reservation time thing is.

they told me as long as I cancel by 4 on chek in day i would be ok...but I plan on calling a couple of weeks before hand just to be safe...I still haven't totaly decided what I am going to do...I am really confused ....but I think I will probley have to cancel it is just so much money for the whole week....

I am finding out they can just hang out here at the hospital...so I think things will work out ok..

They will let one person stay in your room and the rest can sleep in the 2 family lounges which have fold out chairs and sofas.
