I'm home!!! Sugery was Monday

Hi all, I know I don't "know" many of you, but I thought I would pop in and tell you that I came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon.  I feel, pretty good.  I was pretty restless when I got home, and did a few too many trips up/down the stairs before I finally laid down and slept  all afternoon and all evening.  Today my goal is to rest and take a shower - then get back into bed and relax. just thought I'd pop in and let you know. Welcome home!  It will get easier, by this time next week, you should be feeling pretty good.  Hoping for a speedy recovery for you.

I think you are pretty close to me so if you need anything, please let me know.  Bristow is in Perry County I believe and I'm in Spencer.

Well I am wrong AGAIN!  I am about as far away as possible from Bristol.  I am really close to Bristow though.  Duhhhhh.

Anyway, I can't run to see you but I can pray for your recovery and mail you anything you need so I'm still here for you!

lori, I hope you're feeling better today. Get your rest..but be sure you do your walking every hour too. I wouldn't do stairs..but just same level walking. Our house is set up so that you can go in a complete circle...livingroom-->hallway-->bedroom-->master bath-->laundry room-->kitchen-->diningroom. Sounds like it'd take a long time to walk all those but the rooms are small...lol! Anyway, I'd do the complete circle. As my strength increased, I'd add another 'lap'.  I hope we're able to get to know you better on here...and that we're able to meet you in person as well! congrats on your surgery...and on your new healthy life ahead!
