Wooohooo Got my contacts.. a lil update..

So far I love em. :) I can't even tell that they are there. The doctor put them in and then they had me take them out and put them back in. :) It was interesting. I don't have near as much problem getting them in vs getting them out lol. I have medium nails and the whole dragging the contact is hard for me. I poked myself in the eye twice trying to get the one out. The other came out much easier and they both went back in pretty good. :) I'm so glad to have options and not have to wear my glasses and still be able to see!! WOOOHOOO.. Oh yea and I was worried bout cost because I have an Astigmatism and so I know the contacts would be a lil bit more expensive than regulars. My eye doc said it's not bad enough to need the special contacts and with our awesome vision insurance and a 30.00 rebate my contacts for 1 year will only cost us 18.00 (not counting the exam and  contact exam/fitting but that was only 88.00 which isn't bad.) I think the Reglan is kicked in and working pretty good for me. My scope showed I was open 12-13 mm still so Dr Gupta didn't dilate me but I managed to keep a lil bit of food down today. Which is an improvement. She did say it was a good idea that I've gotten into the routine of taking Protonix twice a day and Carafate when I'm on my steroids for my Asthma. Dr. C and Dr. Gupta think that the steroids and all the antibiotics is the cause of all my problems the past couple weeks. They think once it's all out my system completely I should get back to some type of normalcy. I am still kind of tired from yesterday so I've taken it easy mostly. Rich and I went and saw that new movie Semi-Pro. He's such a fan of Will Farrell and those silly movies although I don't care too much for them. Anyways then I went to the eye doc and came home. I went and took a walk but the cold sent me into an asthma attack so I had to come home but I got about 1/2 mile in probally.

I have way more trouble putting the contacts in than taking them out!  I can spend anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes trying to get them IN! UGGGGGGGGH! Talk about getting angry!  Good luck with them!
