TUESDAY
Good Morning Everyone,
I didn't sleep very well last night, I guess I just had a lot on my mind. I went to see Phil, he''s in nursing home now for rehab. I didn't think he looked to well yesterday, he seemed very tired. He could use some prayers.
I went to see Dr Huse yesterday, he thought I looked tired so he ordered a bunch of blood work. Hopefully my arms will give as much blood as he ordered. I have terrible veins, its a red hair thing, nurses have told me,so many times.
My prayers are with Sherri and Jody.
And all those needing healthy wishes. Love Ya.
Hugs & Blessings, Gail

Good morning all!
It is icy here and we are suppose to get some snow I believe. We had a warmer day yesterday and now back cold again.
Not doing much today, just working. I thought my ulcer was giving me fits again, but I dont know. Maybe it is just certain foods I eat and it is aggravating it...who knows. I still have Carafate that I have been taking and my Prevacid.
Gail I hope you get some rest. I bet you are just worn down from going thru things with your friend Phil. Hopefully your labs come back ok.
Sherri wishing you a speedy recovery and hoping you are back up on your feet in no time.
Jody hang in there I hope you are not having too much of an issue with nausea and vomitting.
Have a good day all!
I am getting ready for my last Pcp appt. today and an appt. with Dr. Mattar. I have a few hours between appt. so I am hoping to get to stop to see Sherri. If I do not get held up at the doc's offices. We know how tha goes. Have a great day. Shanna

Hey Gail, I hope he's checking your protein. Low protein is what makes me tired. When I get that way. Good luck.
It's a rainy day here in Terre Haute. Not too much going on. I hope you all are going to have a good day. I'm just hanging in there. Although I do have lunch planned with a friend. So that's something to look forward to.
Well not a whole lot planned for me today. I'm headed to the female doctor this morning. I hope after this appointment and then my yearly I'll be cleared to be able to visit every 6 or 12 months instead of every 3 months. It's very frustrating to me.
The reason why I have to have regular visits with my GYN is because before my surgery my PCOS had gone array and I was going years without periods, EVEN with medication used to bring periods on and birth control pills they never could get me an even semi regular period. My doc was concerned and decided instead of my pap she would do an Endometrial biopsy which showed pre-cancerous Endometrial Hyperplasia. Since theres a strong history of female cancers in my family she wasn't taking any chances. I had a D&C with Hysteroscopy and then had to have endometrial biopsies every 3 months for the past couple years. October was my first pap instead of biopsy and it was definitely a relief for something different. Either way she has me come in regularly every 3 months to make sure that I'm having my female cycle and to just make sure that everything is okay. I was told for the rest of my life that I am not to miss a period unless I am pregnant and if I do I need to contact them immediately for something to jump start it. Soo anyways thats what the deal is with that LOL. My mom asked me last night what was wrong with me because she just realized that I'm going to the GYN a lot more than a normal person lol. I didn't really tell my family anything just Richard because my mom likes to use us kids for attention and my bad health seems to get her just the right amount for her liken for a while. But anyways thats a whole nother topic. :) Thankfully since my surgery cycles have really been behaving themselves and gotten pretty regularly and my PCOS has improved a great bit. . :) Thats just awesome.
Anyways now that you have my medical history
hehe thats my plans today. After I do all that fun stuff I'm hoping to do so more housework today but it just depends. My landlord is supposed to be coming in and redoing our utility room floor. We had to empty it out and it just so happened to be where we stored everything that we weren't going to be using right away lol. That was a great boat load of fun. The dust has my eyes sooo irritated heheh.. I got quite a bit done yesterday though.
I get to spend a great deal of fun with DH's grandma today too though and thats always interesting. She is going to ride to Columbus with me and my I'm thinking of taking her to lunch afterwards and maybe going to the mall and walking around and stuff. We'll see what happens. :)
Thankfully it's still just icky and wet here no ice or snow!
Hey I got an idea popped in my head last night and figured I'd ask you guys. I was checking out prices of Indianapolis Indians tickets last night because Rich and I really enjoy going to the Louisville Bats games and minor league ball games (although when we go to Baltimore this summer we're hoping to catch an Orioles game yaaay). I was going to see if you all would be interested in a get together there. Maybe in May or June?? For groups of 25+ really good seats are 11.00 but either way without the group discount the good seats are 13.00 if you all are interested just let me know and I'll start compiling a list and check the schedule more thoroughly and try and pick a fun night to do it. :)
Anyways I wrote my book sooo I'm gonna let it be for now. Have a blessed day! Love yas.

Good Day Everyone,
Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes from my post yesterday. Today I haven't hit an nausea at all. I'm emotionally frustrated though. Started off I went to pick up my anti nausea pills. I have one that the doc ordered me to take everynight when I go to bed and another one PRN. The one that I have to take every night my insurance has decided I don't need. They only gave me 18 pills for 30 days and told me and the pharmacy that was all they were going to pay for. I can't afford to pay for the rest out of my pocket. So I went out to the car and cried. I called the docs office back and told them what happened, so the nurses called Medicare and they are refusing to talk to anyone BUT the doctor that ordered the prescription. So they said they have to page her and WHEN she has time to call Medicare it will be dealt with then. Meanwhile, I'm frustrated over that. I mean seriously, what's the point of a doctor ordering medication for you when the insurance company has the right to refuse it? So frustrating. I'm musclar(sp?) tired today, but my mind is fully awake and going. I've done a couple loads of laundry already this morning. Just sitting around waiting to head back to the Cancer Inst. in Lebanon to start my radiation treatments. I get to do those Monday thru Friday for six weeks. Thankfully they are only 15 mins long... but.. I'm not looking forward to the tiredness side effect. BLAH!
I hope everyone has a good day. Be careful driving on this o`crappie weather. Be safe. Be thankful.
Jodi
P.S. If someone talks to Sherri or sees her today, could you please pass on my well wishes and hugs. Thank You!

Hi buddies,
How are you all this fine, wet day? Well, it is sleeting here, and the roads are a mess!DH went to get a paper & said people were sliding thru the stop signs- oh no!!!! I need to go down to Amy's today- poor girl is now sick!
I am soooo glad Sherri's surgery went great! I talked to Tiff, and she said the Drs. were very pleased with the results, no more hernia & Sherri has lost her "bump"!!!! YEAH-she is gonna be so happy!!
She was in alot of pain so I didn't keep her, but sounds like she is now on the road to recovery! I won't be in Indy till Friday, but hopefully she'll be home by then! I am going to try to call tomorrow & see how she is doing, she just needs to rest today. I always found the second day was worst for me after any surgery.I know they will apperciate us calling first, to see if she's up for a visit.
Gail hon, drink lots of water and have them use the smallest needle- I know that my veins are small & they have to use the "kiddy size'! it is alot less painful, too!!!!Thanks for posting about Sherri's surgery, you are such a sweetheart!
I got a call about my lab results- all good!!!! My good hdl, trygliserides, and vitamen K are all up, which is good- I was so low, that they have me eating more protien and carbs. now.The downside is I have gained 10#!!!! I hate that!!!!
I have enough issues with my hanging belly, and now it is bigger- grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Oh well, atleast I am healthy- I have so much to be grateful for!!!
Linda, I am praying for you & your family every day. I have added you to our prayer list , and know that "God will not fail us nor forsake us." Even in our darkest days, He is always near, and you know I have had some dark days as well, so I understand. if you need to chat, vent, cry, talk, I am here for you. My number is in the OH directory, so call me,or email me anytime you need k?!
Lets keep our prayers going for a speedy recovery for Sherri and Jodi!
Jo, hope you are doing ok, and rest as much as you can. Sending healing (((((hugs)))) to you.
My SIL always has a great burst of energy right after her treatments, too. She also has had a rough time with Medicare, & her meds. Hang in there hon, you might not need them- wouldn't that be wonderful!!! Give Q a kiss for me.
I am applying for a passport! I have an opportunity to go to Canada in Oct. and I plan to go. It is my birth month, (I'll be the BIG 60 this yr.YIKES!!!!
I feel like the new 40- hee~hee!
)
Have a good day everyone, and sending (((((((((((((loving hugs)))))))))))))))))))) to everyone- no matter what you are going thru, you have friends who care. Thats what I've found in all of you!
