Happy Wednesday..

Four weeks from today is my surgery!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand myself.  Next Tuesday is my nut class, and Wednesday is my pre op physical and testing.  Woohoo!! My dad's going with me to the class, since he's been through this and my husband can't get the time off work.  Wednesday I'll be there solo, so I'm taking a book to read. 

Doing much better today than yesterday.  My 5 year old daughter Emily woke us up at 11:30pm Monday night (we'd been asleep maybe 1/2 hr) , she'd thrown up all over her bed and the bathroom.  Poor child was sick every hour or less, and I was up til FIVE AM doing laundry.  We went through all four sets of sheets for her bed, every nightgown she owns, and every blanket.   Somehow, my 4 yr old slept through it all...their beds are only 18 inches apart, so I don't know how she managed it, but I was glad.  I finally went back to bed at 5 and slept til 8 when my little one got me up.  Thankfully, Emily didn't get sick again and we all just hung out at home yesterday.   No preschool for her yesterday obviously, and then it's closed today due to the snow and ice we got up here, so I'm going to be very happy to send her back in the morning!  Did I mention it's only four weeks til my surgery?

Good Morning All, I have been up for hours, I have a few cards to get out and my writing is not so good.  I reading AOL for dummies, my computer skills are terrible. But i am working on it. Thanks, Misty for thinking of me. I had a really bad day yesterday, I overloaded the washer, my phone was dead, our dog decided he want to stay outside in the rain and I bit my lip and it hurts, all that potessiom leaves my month & teeth a mess. HI ALL,  WHAT A MESS OUR AREA IS- 2" OF ICE & THEN 2" OF SNOW ONTOP-BUT I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT MY GRANDSON & HIS FRIEND ARE OK!! THEY HAD JUST LEFT FOR WORK WHEN GOING AROUND A CURVE HIS BUDDY LOST CONTROL( DURING A HORRIBLE SLEET STORM- I COULDN'T SEE ACROSS THE STREET!!!) ROLLED 3 TIMES,& LANDED UPSIDE DOWN IN A FIELD- 10" FROM A PHONE POLE!!!! GOD WAS SURE WATCHING OUT FOR THEM! THEY ARE BOTH CUT UP, SORE, AND HURT 'CAUSE HIS BUDDY HAD JUST SPENT ALL HIS $$ TO FIX UP HIS SUV. GOTTA TELL YOU, JESUS REALLY WAS AT THE WHEEL- IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH WORSE.PTL.        LUCKLY WE WERE ABLE TO GET HOME BEFORE THAT STORM HIT. IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE SHERRI, AND KNOW SHE IS OK. YOU KNOW, IT SEEMS LIKE SO MANY ARE GOING THRU SOME "BUMPS IN LIFES ROAD" RIGHT NOW, AND IT IS SO GOOD TO KNOW WE HAVE EACH OTHERS SUPPORT- THIS IS ONE GREAT "FAMILY" AND I APPRECIATE EACH OF YOU!  OK, THE SUNSHINE IS BECKONING ME TO GO PLAY- HEE~HEE! ALTHOUGH MY CHAIR IS CALLING ME FOR A NAP- I WAS UP MOST OF THE NIGHT IT SEEMED. I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN GAIL, SOMETIMES I CAN'T SEEM TO TURN MY MIND OFF, WHEN I NEED TOO!DANA IS OUT UNCOVERING THE CARS/TURCK SO WE CAN GO UPTOWN FOR A FEW THINGS.  TAKE CARE EVERYONE, AND STAY SAFE!! Thankfully it's just cold down here. No ice or snow or anything yet but I heard its supposed to come tonight.

AAArrrggghhhhh...no more snow! I just know my daughter will wait to go into labor as soon as we get a good snow!  I hate to drive in it and the hospital is 40 minutes away!      Pray no snow....pray no snow........  cause this is one vehicle we never see around here when it does!
