Good Thursday Morning!

Good morning! Yep, I'm still at St. V's. It's early yet (~6) so the docs haven't been in yet. I would guess that they'll both be in by 9 so I should be home by noon. Sounds good anyway, huh? I've learned not to let any extra time go by without taking my pain meds. Any more than 4 hours and it takes quite awhile for the vicodins to be able to work. I'm hoping that I'll be able to start spreading out the dosage more & more by the weekend. Hey! It could happen! LOL! Once I'm getting up from a recliner instead of a bed, that will help alot. You don't realize how much you use your syomach muscles until you have something like this. Well...it's time to let my nurse know that it's AchievOne time. They put them in the fridge for me...yum! It keeps them really slushy cold! Thank you all for your loving concern. I probably won't be getting online alot when I get home for awhile. I'll be recouping in the recliner instead. Thursday morning here and im still sick, going to the DR today b/c my throat hurts so bad I can barely swallow, my daughter woke up with the same sore throat so I guess if they say I have something ilke strep or tonsilitis, Ill be taking her to see her pediatrican today also....BLAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a great day..........I seen on the news this morning where we are suppose to get more snow tomorrow afternoon/night...........Call me crazy, but Indianapolis hasnt gotten any of the big snows theyve talked about this year and I wanted ONE REALLY BIG SNOW before the winter season was over, so im kinda bummed........Im one of the crazy ones who likes snow lolol

Good morning!  I woke up with the worst headache this morning. I know it is because of the storm front coming today, so I will just take a couple tylenol and go on with my business.  There is nothing I can do about the weather........and now they are calling for 4-6" starting late tonight, and continue all the way until Saturday morning!!!  Uggh! Have a great day all~~~~I am going to work today, so I plan on making it the best I can! Take care!

Good Morning, I have been up for hours, I go see my pcp today, so hopefully we call find out what makes me fall so much. I may go out to see my friend Phil, he is still at the nursing home. Good Morning, Not too much going on here. I have alot to do today,WOrk and need to clean house after that and get groceries. I have my mom and nieces coming in from ohio for a cheerleading competition this weekend. Good News from the scales though, I am down to 231, they started to move again once mother nature arrived. I would like to be down to 220 around surgery time. That way it's much quicker to ONEderland. I was 180 ish in High school in 1990-92 so I haven't been that little since then. I am currently the weight I was when I lived in San DIego i***** I guess that's about it. Sherri-get comfy and get a few zzzz's (for me) Gail- I have and get Vertigo alot. Where is the cheerleading competition u are going to.  I'll be at one that my neice is in and I know Sara is coming down for one as well.  Maybe several of us all at the same one???

Convention center/dome I think. Thats funny my nieces name is Sara. They told me about it last month but I kind of forgot, I have to rework my schedule. She is competing Sat. night. Maybe I will see ya there! Shanna

My neice's name is Kaylyn...shes also from Ohio.  She's going to be attending Ball State next year and they want her to try out for their cheerleading team but shes worried about having time for her studies and college cheerleading.  Shes wanting to do her 4 yrs in 3 so she can get a jump start on Dental school

Sara is a beautiful OH loser thats from up around Fort Wayne I believe...her daughter is also competing.

Good morning! Not much going on so far at work.  I was at work yesterday for 15 hrs.  I worked my regular 10 hr day, then we had EMT class practice skills so I stayed and helped test them out.  Makes for a long day.   We are suppose to be getting snow starting tomorrow morning into Saturday and high winds on Saturday.   My daughters birthday was yesterday so I am letting her have a couple friends stay Sat. night and then having a little birthday party for her on Sunday.  If we get that wind, we may not be going anywhere.  I live out in no man's  land...lol. I had emailed the nurse Katie at Dr. Gupta's office a few days ago and she called me yesterday.  I was having issues with my ulcer again, but it has been a lot better.  She said that if it keeps hurting they will scope me again and probably do a PICC line to give my stomach a rest.  She told me to continue my Carafate and Prevacid.  I asked her how big my ulcer was and she said Dr. G doesnt measure them, she just puts small. med., or large an she had written down large for my and it was on the posterior side (back) of my stomach.  So hopefully that ulcer stays away. To everyone not feeling well...I hope you get to feeling better real soon. Sherri glad you get to come home today. You always rest better at home. Have a good day and stay safe in this snow coming.

Good morning all! How are you doing? My happy moment  for the week. I got my 3-stone diamond ring back, resized from a 12 to a 7. I haven't been able to wear it in a year. I love this ring, it's a gorgeous ring, with the past, present, future stones. I just feel beautiful when I have it on. It sparkles so! I was waiting to get it resized until my weight was more stable. Now I can wear it again, and to quote the song, "I feel pretty!"  The mixed moment for the week. Yesterday, I found my dog Molly, who I thought I'd found a good home for, wandering down Locust St. here in Terre Haute. It was freak chance for me to be there at that time of day. It was so good to see her though. I have missed my dogs terribly. We took her into the van, and went to my MIL's house. MIL agreed to keep her until we could figure out what to do with her. The people who took her never even changed her tags :-(  THen MIL called back later, and said she changed her mind, and that she would just keep Molly, if that was okay with us. (Which it is, of course.) Sherri - so good to hear from you. Glad you're doing okay. Prevent the pain!!! Take the vicodin if you need them. There's no sense in hurting if you don't have to.
